𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗! 🌱💙

Isa na namang hakbang para sa mas malinis, mas maayos, at mas luntiang Maynila! 🌊🌿

Masaya naming ibinabahagi na aprubado na ng Manila Youth Development Council (MYDC) ang resolution na naglalayong palakasin ang pagtutulungan para sa rehabilitasyon ng mga estero, environmental education ng kabataan, community-based bioremediation, at inter-agency collaboration sa Lungsod ng Maynila.

Para sa Aksyon Youth Manila, malaking bagay ang pagkakataong maipakita na ang mga ideya at adbokasiya ng kabataan ay puwedeng maging bahagi ng tunay na polisiya at aksyon para sa ating lungsod 🙌🏻

Maraming salamat kay Councilor Yanyan Ibay, Chairperson ng MYDC, sa kanyang pamumuno at sa pagbibigay ng pagkakataon sa mga kabataan na makilahok at magpahayag ng kanilang mga adbokasiya.

Taos-puso rin ang aming pasasalamat kay Director John Daniel Layno ng Manila Youth Development and Welfare Bureau sa patuloy na suporta sa mga youth-led initiatives at meaningful youth participation.

At siyempre, maraming salamat sa lahat ng MYDC members sa pakikinig, pakikipag-diskusyon, at pagsuporta sa resolution na ito. Hindi ito magiging posible kung wala ang collective effort ng bawat isa 🙏🏻

Salamat din sa ating partners, Tropang MACE at Project AGOS sa pakikipagtulungan at pagbabahagi ng iisang layunin para sa ating mga estero at komunidad.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa isang resolution.
Patunay ito na kapag ang kabataan ay binigyan ng boses at pagkakataon, kaya nating maging bahagi ng solusyon 💙

ALAB | DISTRICT 2 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼💙

Noong Sabado, nagsama-sama ang mga kabataan ng Zone 21 sa Barangay 228, District 2 para sa isang makabuluhang seminar on Good Governance. Ito ay isang paalala na ang pagiging mabuting lider ay hindi lang tungkol sa posisyon, kundi tungkol sa integridad, accountability, transparency, at tunay na paglilingkod.

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga programa, nais nating bigyan ang kabataan ng kaalaman at confidence na maging responsableng mamamayan, aktibong community leaders, at katuwang sa pagbuo ng isang mas maayos na pamahalaan.

Ang seminar na ito ay isang proyekto ng Aksyon Youth Manila at Kaya Natin Youth Manila, in cooperation with Kaya Natin Movement at Aksyon Youth Dos.

Maraming salamat sa mga kabataan ng Zone 21 na nakiisa, nakinig, nagtanong, at higit sa lahat, nagpasyang matuto. Dahil ang good governance ay hindi lamang responsibilidad ng mga nasa gobyerno kundi responsibilidad nating lahat.

Magsimula tayo sa kabataan. Magsimula tayo sa komunidad 🇵🇭

Do you love creating content, telling stories, or simply spending way too much time on social media?

This one might be for you.

The City of Manila, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Manila, Office of the Mayor, Office of the Vice Mayor (OVM), Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW), SPARK!, and L’Oréal Philippines, is inviting young Manileños to join a 6-day youth development program focused on beauty, wellbeing, digital content creation, and building your voice and platform.

Throughout the program, you’ll get to learn about hair care, skincare, makeup, financial wellbeing, mental wellness, TikTok, sustainable consumption, and more — with sessions designed to help you develop skills that you can carry beyond the program.
