MOA RENEWAL SIGNING CEREMONY AND CORNEAL DONATION ORIENTATION

The MOA Renewal Signing Ceremony and Corneal Donation Orientation was successfully held at the CVMC Amphitheater, bringing together healthcare professionals and partners in support of eye care and corneal donation advocacy.

The program featured opening remarks by Dr. Domingo Carlo S. Dator. An overview of the retrieval program and introduction of the guest speaker was delivered by Dr. Kris Zanna Acluba-Arao.
The highlight of the event included an inspiring message from Dr. Ivo John S. Dualan, President and CEO of Eye Bank Foundation , and a message from the CVMC Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Cherry Lou M. Antonio.

The MOA signing ceremony marked the continued partnership and commitment to advancing eye donation services. The program also included presentations by Ms. Ellen S. Lagan, Eye Bank Manager, and orientation sessions on corneal donation led by Ms. Biya Mar Ban-o and Ms. May Maureen Mc Cremens, focusing on understanding cornea and eye donation as well as family and grief counseling. Mr. Roberto Manuntag led the wetlab in Corneal Excision in the afternoon session.
