On May 8, 2026, the members of Jose Abad Santos Chapter No. 1 along with Luzon Chapter No. 79 had the privilege of feeding and spending time with the children of Sto. Domingo Church through this meaningful outreach program centered on compassion, generosity, and community service.

Our sincerest gratitude to the Halim Lathala Club, UST Angelicum Extension Services, Ms. Joan Esquierdo, and Ms. Jessa Bermejo for helping make this initiative possible through your dedication and commitment to serving others.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Luzon Chapter No. 79 and their Master Councilor, Jayron Balingit, for standing alongside us in this shared mission of brotherhood and service.

May we continue to uphold the values of civil, religious, and intellectual liberty through meaningful acts of kindness and outreach.

AIMING FOR INTELLECTUAL LIBERTY!

The Jose Abad Santos Chapter No. 1 – Order of DeMolay invites everyone to take part in the Jose Abad Santos Fun Shoot: Aiming for Intellectual Liberty. This event focuses on discipline, focus, and shared experience through a 3-stage shooting course.

The event will be held at Coast Guard Base, Taguig CG-K9 Firing Range on June 20, 2026. The time is to be announced, so participants should stay updated for further details. In addition, the event offers three categories: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

The registration fee is PHP 2,000.00.

This includes 50 reload bullets, a packed lunch, a free event shirt, a raffle ticket, and a tarpaulin for sponsors.

Keeping the community hydrated!

This Holy Week, we DeMolays collectively observe our Order’s second Cardinal Virtue. Reverence for Sacred Things.

With the Manila heat still on, we spent our Devotional Day at the historical Minor Basilica and Parish of San Sebastian, handing out cold bottled water to ease the heat for everyone heading to the cathedral for their Visita Iglesia.

Nothing beats the feeling of serving our community alongside the brothers. A simple gesture, but a meaningful way to turn our faith into action and to live out the values that make us proud to be DeMolays.

May our faith and resolve stay strong during these trying times.

ONE ABAD: 80 Years of Greatness and Excellence

The 80th Anniversary of the Jose Abad Santos Chapter No. 1 – Order of DeMolay was a celebration that beautifully combined history, brotherhood, and gratitude. Each photograph taken during this milestone reflects not only the joy of our gathering but also the strength of the bonds that unite us across generations.

The evening was graced by the presence of our Masonic Senior DeMolay Club, whose guidance and support remain a cornerstone of our chapter’s success. We were honored by the attendance of the DeMolay National Congress, a reminder of the unity and strength of our fraternity nationwide. Our celebration was further elevated by the inspiring presence of Hon. Raymund Joseph Ian O. Mendoza, Grand Master of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay, whose words encouraged us to continue living by the values of DeMolay.

A highlight of the program was the participation of our decade speakers, who shared wisdom and stories that bridged our past, present, and future, allowing us to reflect on the journey of our Chapter through the decades. The celebration also did not forget our mothers, as a solemn 9 o’clock interpolation was performed with reverence. A live altar and live candlesticks, composed of chapter members, stood as symbols of love and respect, reminding us of the role our moms play in shaping who we are.

The night was filled with music and performances that brought energy and emotion to the celebration. The electrifying set of Meg Fernandez’s band set the tone for festivity, followed by the heartfelt performance of Bro. Celestine Alexis Dolloso, whose music resonated deeply with the spirit of our brotherhood. Our current actives also showcased their talents, proving that the chapter’s legacy continues to thrive in the hands of the next generation.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all attendees, especially our Senior DeMolays, whose presence made the evening truly memorable. Their participation strengthened the bonds across generations and reminded us that our chapter’s greatness lies not only in its history but in the living brotherhood we share today.

The 80th Anniversary was was a reaffirmation of our values, a tribute to those who came before us, and a promise to continue building on the legacy of greatness and excellence for years to come.
