Aiming for Intellectual Liberty
On June 20, 2026, Jose Abad Santos Chapter No. 1 – Order of DeMolay successfully held its Fun Shoot Fundraising Activity: Aiming for Intellectual Liberty at the CG-K9 Firing Range, Coast Guard Base Taguig. Organized in support of the Chapter’s Scholarship Program, the event welcomed more participants than anticipated, with shooters competing in both the Tyro Division and the Open Division. The strong turnout and support from the shooting community made the activity a successful one and will help advance the Chapter’s efforts to provide educational assistance through its Scholarship Program.
The event was organized through the hands-on leadership of the Chapter’s Five Lights: Bro. Benito Emilio I. Sales IV, Master Councilor; Bro. Lance Benedict Bitara, Senior Councilor; Bro. Chryss Ignacio, Junior Councilor; Bro. Johann Jay Punzalan, Treasurer; and Bro. Christian Acob, Scribe. Their dedication and hard work made this activity possible.
Aiming for Intellectual Liberty also marks the final project of Master Councilor Bro. Benito Emilio I. Sales IV for Term 2026-A, bringing his term to a close with a project that will continue to benefit the Chapter’s Scholarship Program.
We were honored to welcome Atty. Marc Vincent D.G. Nieves, President of the Supreme Lex Fraternity Law Alumni Association, as our Guest of Honor and Speaker, who also assisted the Lights in planning the event.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors for their generous support:
