Ang kaligtasan, kapakanan, at dignidad ng bawat mag-aaral at mamamayan ay dapat na manatiling prayoridadโ€”lalo na sa gitna ng matinding sakuna at kalamidad.

Mariing tinututulan ng University of the East - Manila Debate & Speech Society ang hindi makatarungang pagpapatupad ng Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) o mga online synchronous classes sa gitna ng Red Rainfall Warning at pagbaha.

Hindi dapat ginagawang dahilan ang "Filipino resilience" upang pagtakpan ang kapalpakan sa sistema at kawalan ng maagap na aksyon mula sa pamahalaan at pamunuan ng pamantasan.

Dahil dito, nanawagan kami sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila, Malacaรฑang, at Pamunuan ng University of the East na magpatupad ng maagap at proactive na suspensyon ng klase sa lahat ng antas bago pa man makalabas ng bahay ang mga mag-aaral, kasabay ng pagbibigay ng makataong akademiko at probisyon ng pag-unawa para sa mga hindi nakakapagpasa ng akademiko dulot ng sakuna. Higit sa lahat, nanawagan kami sa buong pamayanan na sumingil ng pananagutan sa mga pondong nawala sa korapsyon sa flood control at magluklok ng mga pinunong may kompetensya at tunay na malasakit.

Ang kaligtasan ng mag-aaral at mamamayan ay hindi isang pribilehiyo, ito ay obligasyon!

The UE DEBATE AND SPEECH SOCIETY (UE DEBSSOC) has been ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐š๐œ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐†๐ฅ๐จ๐›๐š๐ฅ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ (GYP) for its steadfast commitment to advancing youth-led initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through this accreditation, UE DEBSSOC is now officially accredited, joining a global community of youth organizations driving sustainable change.

Established in 2025, the Global Youth Program is a five-year initiative that supports the achievement of the SDGs. Co-implemented by UN SDSN Youth Philippines, Youth Solutions Network (YSN), and the UN SDG Youth Council Philippines, the program empowers young leaders to drive collective action toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

This milestone marks another step for us in expanding partnerships, amplifying youth-driven action, and championing sustainability for present and future generations.

Our Warriors took on the challenge and commanded the mic in our "Tongue Twister with a Twist" game, shouting out lines and testing their speech skills under pressure.

Everyone had some fun, and those who conquered the floor took home exclusive DEBSSOC stickers and pins!
