CALL FOR ENTRIES | Wifibody 2026

New Choreographers Competition returns - a platform dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging Filipino choreographers.
For 2026, we invite choreographers to engage with conditions of connection.

How do bodies relate to one another, to systems, to time, and to attention? Connection today is rarely optional, with conditions that are both personal and systemic, local and global - and movement is where they unfold.

We encourage choreographers to take a position.
What is the body willing to stay with?

CRITERIA FOR JOINING
Filipino citizen
Aged 18-35 at the time of the competition
Has not yet created a major full-length choreographic work
Demonstrates a serious interest in pursuing choreography and contributing to contemporary dance practice in the Philippines

In celebration of Arts Month, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement to share our newest collaboration 🕺💃

Together with Tiny Blessing Foundation Tiny Blessings Foundation, in partnership with Steps Scholarship Foundation, we are launching a dance program created especially for the children of the foundation, a space where movement becomes an outlet, a language, and a source of joy.

This program is about giving children the freedom to explore their bodies, express their stories, and discover confidence through dance. Small steps, gentle guidance, and a lot of heart, this is where creativity begins.

We are also very happy to share that our dance artist Ronieth Dayao .dayao .dance a teacher under the LikhaPH Outreach Program for Dance, will be facilitating the classes and holding this space with care, patience, and intention.

We truly look forward to a beautiful and meaningful collaboration, and we thank Steps Scholarship Foundation for believing in the power of the arts and making this initiative possible.

The work continues, one movement, one child, one shared moment at a time. ✨

Happy New Year!

As we head into our 26th season, we wish everyone a prosperous year.

We’re excited to announce our continued support for working dance artists of all generations. This year, we’ll be hosting a variety of sharing, learning, and presentation events at home and abroad.
A glimpse into our season!

In April, Vancouver’s Kay Huang, Simran Sachar, and Helen Walkely will be participating in a studio residency and presentation at our popular spring salon series at What Lab.

Undivided Colours will return in May for Asian Heritage Month, celebrating the work of diverse Asian Canadian dance artists. This event will be in association with The Dance Centre.

MigARTion will also be returning to its National Outreach Programs, covering Montreal, Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, and Whitehorse. These programs will engage our diverse immigrant communities in collective art-making.

Our Accumulation tour will continue to Southeast Asia, where we’ll be advocating for arts, performance, and climate change.

We’re thrilled to introduce our two visiting artists as our Exchange guest facilitators for 2026: Philippines Rhosam Villareal Prudenciado Jr. and Byuti Balaga, who will be Co.ERASGA’s 2026 artist in residence.

We’re committed to approaching this season with focus and rigour, bringing these artists’ untold stories to life for our audiences and we hope to see you all there!
Stay tuned for more! and follow our linktree for details.
