Hiyas ng Pilipinas Dance Troupe Lito Atienza Cultural Arts Foundation

The Lito Atienza Cultural Arts Foundation (LACAF) is a foundation founded by former Mayor and now Congressman Lito Atienza in the year 2000. Our goal is to provide gifted children ages seven to sixteen years old from the city’s marginalized communities, the opportunity to receive the training and discipline needed to develop their God-given talents in dancing and ultimately reach their potential.

We have been providing them with training from some of the country’s top dancers and choreographers and have given them a modest stipend for their needs. In the course of more than a decade, we have produced some of the most disciplined and dedicated batches of scholars who have even been invited to participate not only in local dance festivals, but even in Taipei and more recently, Macau.
