Kasama sina Jairo Bolledo at Zandro Ochona, isusulong ng ang temang “Mula sa Masa, Para sa Masa: Pananagutan sa Bayan ng Citizen Journalism” upang talakayin ang papel at pananagutan ng citizen journalism sa makabagong midya, at ang impluwensiya nito sa kamalayang panlipunan.

In this installment, we look at the newly launched National AI Center for Research and Innovation (NAICRI). As the country’s central anchor for sovereign AI development, this DOST initiative bridges the gap between fragmented research and large-scale national deployment.

By introducing "AI-as-a-service" and tools like iTANONG, NAICRI ensures that AI solutions are calibrated for our unique landscape. By democratizing high-performance computing, it empowers sectors from agriculture to urban planning, and provides a stable foundation for student developers to scale academic projects into national solutions.

Could we outsmart an earthquake before it even happens? This is exactly what the ACER Program aims to do.

In our second installment of “Bits of Data,” we explore the initiative by DOST-PHIVOLCS designed to fortify the Philippines against nature’s biggest threats.

The ACER Program may help LGUs understand the specific vulnerabilities of their local terrain through high-resolution hazard maps, bringing a science-based approach in solving problems in communities. This allows for precision in planning settlements, ensuring that evacuation centers, hospitals, and homes are built in the most appropriate areas.
