OUR STORY
We started Crafty Tefy Crochet in 2017 with a simple, heartfelt mission to create and donate crochet comfort balls to children affected by the Marawi Siege. In 2020, faced with the challenges of the pandemic, we stayed true to our mission, crafting and distributing 500 ear savers to dedicated medical workers and front liners in Marikina City and nearby areas. Today, Crafty Tefy Crochet has grown into a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities, especially women, youth, and people with disabilities, through the art of crochet. We believe in transforming this craft into a sustainable source of income for our partner artisans, all while preserving the beauty and cultural significance of this art form. WHAT WE DO
We function as both a crochet training center and a brand that designs and sells unique, handcrafted crochet products. Our specialty is creating original stuffed toys and keychains that celebrate Filipino creativity, craftsmanship, and culture. HOOKING HOPE : OUR FREE CROCHET TRAINING PROGRAM
Our mission to empower others comes to life through Hooking Hope, our free crochet training program for marginalized communities. We welcome anyone who is eager to learn a valuable skill, passionate about Filipino arts and culture, and looking for a way to earn a sustainable income. This program is designed to guide participants from basic to advanced crochet techniques, providing hands-on training to create market-ready products. We also offer skill development in product quality and finishing, opening up opportunities for long-term income. BENEFITS OF HOOKING HOPE
