TEMA warmly welcomes the children and parents of Brgy. Talipapa, Novaliches QC, and nearby communities on its 3rd batch of FREE 8-Week Music Therapy Program for children with disabilities.

Each weekly practice brings joy, learning, and meaningful bonding moments for both the children and their families. Through music, the children are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy a safe and supportive community.

TEMA is a mobile community group that brings music therapy activities directly to communities. We also invite volunteers who want to share their time and talents โ€” musicians, out-of-school youth, students, and individuals who want to be part of this meaningful advocacy.

After the 8-week program, the children will participate in a special Culminating Activity to celebrate their progress and talents.

Paano isasagawa ang Music Therapy sa bahay?
Halimbawa: Kundiman, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, o mga lumang OPM.
2. "Finish the Lyric" (Laro)
Bakit?
3. Rhythm at Movement
Bakit?
4. Song-Association Discussion
Bakit?
Kailan ito dapat gawin?

Today is Week 3 of our 8-Week Music Therapy Program

Over the past two sessions, our participants began their journey with rhythm games, simple singing activities, and instrument exploration. These early sessions helped everyone feel comfortable while encouraging self-expression, confidence, and social interaction.

During Week 2, we continued building rhythm and coordination through percussion activities, clapping patterns, and group music exercises. Participants started connecting with one another through music, creativity, and shared experiences.

Now in Week 3, we are expanding these skills through vocal expression and group singing, allowing participants to discover how their voices can become a meaningful way to communicate and express emotions.

Our sessions are currently being held at Waltermart The Junction in Novaliches, and we sincerely thank the Waltermart management for generously providing the venue free of charge. Their support helps our participants create an inclusive space where creativity and confidence can grow.

**Batch 3 Schedule**
Section 1 โ€“ 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM | Ages 13 years old and above
Section 2 โ€“ 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN | Ages 5 to 13 years old

๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŽถ Back-to-Back Learning & Advocacy | September 19, 2025 | La Loma, Quezon City ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽจ

We feel truly blessed to share a meaningful back-to-back engagement of TEMA last September 19, 2025, made possible through the invitation of the Rotary Club of Liwasang Bonifacio, headed by UCP Rolan C. Gabral.

Our TEMA Director, Boi Carandang, was honored to serve as Resource Speaker for two inspiring sessions:

๐ŸŒ… Morning Session:
A Basic Drawing and Shading Workshop for selected students of Aurora Quezon Elementary School. Young learners eagerly explored foundational art techniques, discovering how simple lines and shadows can bring imagination to life. Seeing students gain confidence through creative expression was truly heartwarming.

๐ŸŒ‡ Afternoon Session:
A Seminar on Music as Therapy, attended mostly by members of RC Liwasang Bonifacio. The discussion highlighted how music supports emotional wellness, cognitive function, stress management, and overall well-being โ€” not only for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), but for people of all ages.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Rotary Club of Liwasang Bonifacio for giving TEMA the opportunity to promote the transformative power of music and arts beyond traditional spaces. Platforms like this allow us to broaden awareness that music therapy is not limited to PWD intervention โ€” it is a lifelong wellness tool for families, professionals, and communities.

Moments like these affirm our mission:
โœจ Art builds confidence.
โœจ Music heals and connects.
โœจ Inclusion benefits everyone.

Maraming salamat for the trust and partnership. We look forward to more collaborations that champion creativity, healing, and inclusive growth.

A Meaningful Moment Worth Sharing โ€” Even If Itโ€™s a Little Late
โœจ๐ŸŽถTEMA Champions Inclusion at Community Mini Olympics 2025 โœจ๐ŸŽถ

Last 20th of September 2025, TEMA proudly stood alongside the Rotary Club of Amazing Manila during the Special Mini Olympics at Freedom Park 5 Batasan Hills, Q.C. โ€” celebrating the strength, talent, and spirit of children with disabilities.

The event gathered 150 children with disabilities and 150 parents from various CBR Smiles chapters in Batasan Hills, Payatas, Commonwealth, and Bagong Silangan. With the theme โ€œCommunity Celebrates: A Showcase of Strength and Spirit,โ€ the celebration highlighted inclusion, confidence-building, and the undeniable talents of children with special needs.

As an organization dedicated to nurturing the musical and artistic potential of persons with disabilities (PWD), TEMA represented by Directors Mr. Boi Carandang and Ms. Judi Torralba, witnessed firsthand how sports, arts, and community engagement empower children to thrive. From Rotary-inspired games to creative activities and family-centered competitions, the day was a powerful reminder that ability shines brightest when given opportunity and support.

At TEMA, we believe:
Every child has talent worth discovering.
Every family deserves support and recognition.
Every community grows stronger through inclusion.

This meaningful collaboration strengthens our mission to provide accessible music and arts programs for PWDs โ€” building skills, self-esteem, and pathways to greater independence.

Together, let us continue creating spaces where talent has no barriers.
