Welcome back, Sophomores! 💫🎉

On Wednesday, September 16, Dr. Marvin Reyes held a Zoom meeting with the 2nd years of AB English and AB Literature for general and academic concerns. 💌🗨

As they jump back to the road of learning, Dr. Marvin gave the sophomores a chance to raise their concerns. From attendance and performance concerns, to the qualifications of academic awards, and questions about school activities, both org and non-org related. 🏫📝

The students were also asked about their welfare so far, with the changes of the weather and the switches in learning modality. 🌦💻

Dr. Marvin also commended and expressed gratitude to some of the sophomores' active participation lately. Especially with ensuring the SBLL social medias are gaining their well-deserved attention through publication materials.

He also expressed his hopes in the continuity of this active involvement for the future of the department. 👏🌟

Welcome back for the second time around, sophomores! 🥳🤞

A new chapter begins! 🚪✨
Welcome, freshie students! 🦁🤗

On Wednesday, September 9 🗓
Our first-year students from AB English and AB Literature joined us via Zoom for their Freshman Orientation and Advisory Meeting with Dr. Marvin Reyes.

They received a warm introduction to what’s ahead—covering Masses, upcoming events, and the hybrid learning setup.

The session also emphasized their roles as new members of the SBLL family, encouraging them to share their talents, volunteer, and support the community whenever needed. Dr. Marvin kindly addressed any questions about academics, schedules, health, or other concerns that might come up during their college journey.☝🏻

More than an introduction, this orientation gave our students a wonderful opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new environment, learn where to seek support, and start discovering their place in the San Beda University community. 🦁❤️

Welcome to the SBLL Family, dear freshies! 😊✨

On 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we first remember the heroes who came before us, the Filipinos who fought for freedom, defended our sovereignty, spoke against injustice, and made sacrifices that shaped the nation we know today. Their courage lives beyond the pages of history, reminding us that the rights and freedoms we hold are made possible by those who dared to stand and fight for what was right. 🤎

Yet heroism did not end with them. Today, we also honor our teachers who shape the next generation, the farmers who nourish our communities, the doctors and nurses who care for lives, the workers who keep our nation moving, and the rescuers and first responders who answer the call when others are in danger. 🦅

This 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, may we remember the heroes who built our past and recognize those who continue to serve our present, because a nation is shaped not only by those who made history, but by those who choose to make a difference every day. 🇵🇭
