Agyaman kami unay! 🇺🇸💙🇵🇭

From June 24–26, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines brought Alumni Talks: Youth in Diplomacy and Regional Security across the Cagayan Valley to Tuguegarao, Gonzaga, Sta. Ana, and Aparri. Over 250 students, youth leaders, and community members joined meaningful conversations on diplomacy, regional security, and youth leadership.

Led by United States Government Alumni Association - Metro Manila and National Movement of Young Legislators, with the generous support of the National Youth Commission, local governments of Aparri, Santa Ana, and Tuguegarao City, and Cagayan State University campuses in Gonzaga and Aparri, this roadshow highlighted the passion and commitment of young Filipinos to lead and serve.

🇺🇸🇵🇭 Calling all U.S. Government Exchange Alumni in the Philippines! The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines is accepting proposals for the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) via the mission’s 2026 Annual Program Statement. Deadline is May 4, 2026.

We are looking for innovative, alumni-led projects that align with our mission priorities and the Freedom 250 theme.

💰 Funding: $5,000 to $35,000 per project, subject to quality of application and available funding.
🗓️ Deadline: May 4, 2026

How to Apply:
1️⃣ Ensure your alumni proposal aligns with the funding objectives and the Freedom 250 theme.
2️⃣ Submit your proposal through the Annual Program Statement (APS) on or before by May 4, 2026.

Due to the lapse in appropriations, the U.S. Embassy's Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts will not be updated regularly until full operations resume, with the exception of urgent safety and security information.

At this time, scheduled visa interviews and American Citizens Services appointments at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines will proceed as scheduled during the lapse in appropriations. The offsite Visa Application Center in Parqal, Parañaque City, will also remain open for visa applicants who are scheduled for photo and fingerprint collection.

The public may continue to contact the Consular Section through [email protected] (for U.S. Citizens) or ph.usembassy.gov/contact-us-visas/ (for visa applicants).

🇺🇸 🇵🇭 U.S. ExchangeAlumni wrapped up days 2 and 3 of the Alumni Meet 2026 in Clark, Pampanga!

Alumni associations from across the Philippines joined U.S. Embassy staff to discuss ongoing projects and future plans. Highlights included workshops on grant proposal development, a review of 2025 achievements, and the election of the first-ever U.S.-PH Alumni Association Interim Board.

This gathering also set the stage for upcoming milestone celebrations: the 80th anniversary of U.S.-Philippine diplomatic relations, the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026, and Freedom250—America’s 250th anniversary.
