The Public Health Artists’ Circle proudly announces the culmination of the 4th run of Buwanang Sining, with fully face-to-face activities and events showcasing our five core circles: Creative Writing (CW), Dance, Film & Theater (F&T), Music, and Visual Arts (VA).

From the “Once Upon a Scribe” poetry workshop with CW ✍️, to “That Thing Called Pag-Acting” workshop and “CinemaLara” film competition with F&T 🎭🎬, to “STAPHACAN” Battle-of-the-Bands with Music 🥁, “PHootwork” open-style workshop with Dance 💃, and “Art PHair” pop-up booths with VA 🖼️, it has been our great joy and honor to share our creativity and passion with the College of Public Health.

We would like to warmly thank everyone who made these projects possible, including our very own PHAC A.Y. 2025-2026 Officers and Project Heads, organizing committees, external collaborators, CPH admin, and the rest of the UP Manila community. It is because of the joint efforts and support of our community that PHAC continues to uphold its mission of developing holistic, well-rounded individuals who advocate for the betterment of healthcare while also involving themselves in various artistic pursuits 🌻 Thank you for creating and celebrating art with us! 🩷🎨

Noong Marso, muli nating nasaksihan ang husay at pagkamalikhain ng mga mag-aaral ng CPH sa CinemaLara 2026 sa pamamagitan ng mga pelikulang hindi lamang nagbibigay-aliw, kundi nagbubukas din ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa mga isyung pangkalusugan na kinahaharap ng ating bansa.

Hindi lamang nila ipinakita ang kanilang galing sa storytelling, editing, acting, at cinematography, kundi ipinamalas din nila kung gaano sila ka-maalam sa mga mahalaga at agarang isyung pangkalusugan sa ating bansa. Tunay nitong pinatutunayan kung paano nila isinasabuhay ang pagiging isang Public Health student, na mapanuri, makatao, at may malasakit sa sambayanan.

Salamat sa pagpapakita ng totoong utak, puso, at serbisyo sa pamamagitan ng inyong mga pelikula, CPH! Nawa’y patuloy ninyong gamitin ang sining bilang kasangkapan sa pagpapalaganap ng kamalayan at adbokasiya para sa kalusugan ng mamamayan.

✨ ILLUMINATE ✨

Last February 20, we had the opportunity to take part in That Thing Called Pag-Acting with acting coach and director Ms. Ryanne Murcia. More than an ordinary workshop, it introduced us to a deeper and more natural approach to acting, embracing raw emotions and letting them flow authentically. 🧘‍♀️🪷

It was definitely a unique experience flying, swimming, and transforming within the depths of our inner selves, allowing us to freely explore and connect with our own being. ✨

Thank you, Ms. Ryanne Murcia, for sharing your knowledge, letting us see a glimpse of how TV/film actors are trained, and guiding us through this meaningful and illuminating experience. 🎭🔥
