Philippine Surfing Federation

Philippine Surfing Federation A surfing organization based in the Philippines. PSCT was considered as the country’s first multi-destination professional surfing competition.

The Philippine Surfing Federation organized the PHILIPPINE SURFING CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR or PSCT for two consecutive year (2005/2006). Plus, PSF organized the INTERNATIONAL SURFING FESTIVALS that brought local surfing events up to par with world-class standards. PSCT was the only pro surfing event that brought together the best Filipino and foreign surfers to six picturesque surf locations in the Phi

lippines and showcase the distinct energy of the festive life in the Islands. PSCT was patterned after the Association of Surfing Professionals’ (ASP) Rulebook. Surfers who accumulated the most number of points from each leg of the tour emerged as the Top 12 Filipino Surfers of the Tour. The points earned in 2005 were then carried on to the following year’s Tour. Dodo Espejon and Arkipo Figuron of Siargao Island were the first two Filipino surfers who were sent to Indonesia in 2007 to compete in an international surfing competition.
