In 1938, it was recorded in the milestone of Girl Scouting in the Philippines that Manila has already troops organized at the St. The chartered members: Mrs.

Manila Girl Scout Council helps Filipino girls and young women, from 4 to 21 years of age, by inspiring and guiding them to attain the ideals of womanhood in terms of citizenship, character and moral values. Manila Girl Scout Council has been called "The Show Window of Girl Scouting in the Philippines", the place, being the nation's capital and the base of the founder for her organizational work

long before it was formally organized. Anthony's Girl Institution: the Ermine and Marguerite troops of Loreto College - first troops that spearheaded Girl Scouting in Manila, then registered with the Girl Scouts of the United States of America. In 1946, after the war, it was reported in August issue of GS Magazine that there were 37 troops in Manila and many more leaders are preparing their troops for investiture. On October 6, 1946 (November 1946 issue of GS Magazine) the Brownie Pack of Loreto College had its investiture and was recorded as the first registered and invested pack throughout the country. On January 25, 1947, Council was formally organized and Heilmann, former Commissioner in Alexandria, USA, before coming to the Philippines. Winifred Frei, Natalia Beltran, Jeanne Doughtery, Eva Ponce and Sally Bernardo. The Secretary - Treasurer was Mrs. Alberta Fonacier.

𝑨 𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑮 𝑶𝑭 𝑴𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻𝒀, 𝑻𝑶 𝑯𝑶𝑵𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑻𝑹𝒀

Today serves as a reminder of the rich history of the Philippines. On this very day, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲—the Philippine flag that flies above our heads today was first unfurled and introduced to the world! 🇵🇭

From its three 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒔: 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚, it symbolizes the liberty, eqaulity, and fraternity. 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚, represents the peace, truth, and justice. And 𝙍𝙚𝙙, symbolizes the patriotism, courage, and valor of the people. ⚪🔵🔴

The golden sun symbolizes the unity, democracy, and freedom. The eight rays surrounding it represents the eight provinces that first revolted against the Spaniards. Lastly, the three stars, each designated to the three main island groups of our country, 𝙇𝙪𝙯𝙤𝙣, 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙯, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤.☀

𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪? 😯

The first flag of our country was hand-sewn in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza, and Delfina Herbosa Natividad. The flag took five days to complete, and was first raised on this same day after the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite—right after, it was officially waved during the declaration of independence on June 12, 1898. ☀️

Narito na ang ilan sa mga masasayang tagpo mula sa 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 na may temang "𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐎!: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗼." 🎊🇵🇭

Bawat sandali ay punong-puno ng saya, tawanan, at mahahalagang aral habang aktibong nakikibahagi ang ating mga Girl Scouts sa iba’t ibang gawain at karanasan. 🌺

Tunay na naging makabuluhan at masigla ang seminar na ito dahil sa inyong aktibong pakikilahok at walang sawang suporta. 👭✨

𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙊𝙛 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚

𝑬𝒊𝒅 𝒂𝒍-𝑨𝒅𝒉𝒂, or more commonly known as 𝑬𝒊𝒅'𝒍 𝑨𝒅𝒉𝒂 𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆. It is a holiday that commemorates the two greatest and most sacred feasts of the Islamic calendar. 🌙

It commemorates the Prophet Ibrahim's unwavering faith and devotion, who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. Before the sacrifice could take place, God provided a ram as a substitute. 🌿

On this blessed occasion, we extend our warmest greetings towards our Muslim Girl Scouts and entire Muslim community. ☀💝

May this sacred occasion inspire everyone to strengthen their faith, practice compassion and generosity, and uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, and gratitude. May 𝙀𝙞𝙙 𝙖𝙡-𝘼𝙙𝙝𝙖 bring peace, blessings, and unity for all. ☀

Today is the 𝟖𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬! 86 years of building friendships across the country, culminating sisterhood, and uniting the girls of the Philippines in empowerment and joined leadership! 💚✨

Josefa Llanes Escoda was an advocate for women's rights—and in her journey she founded The Girl Scouts of the Philippines on this very day, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟔, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟎. She dedicated her life to the empowerment of young women, and now we stand 86 years later in the organization she brought to life. 💚

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines teaches us to be God loving, patriotic, and proactive—like what the three loops of the trefoil in our logo symbolizes: 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥. The Girl Scouts supports young women and girls all over the Philippines—so here's to another year of sisterhood, leadership, and Girl scouting! 👧🎗️

Ramdam ang masayang enerhiya sa pagpapatuloy ng ating Senior and Cadet Seminar 2026. Kasalukuyan nang idinaraos ang ating Team Building Activity sa pangunguna ng ating mahusay na facilitator na si Sr. GS Princess Magusib. 🔥

Habang nagpapatuloy ang inihandang aktibidad, dahan-dahang pinatitibay ng ating mga delegates ang kanilang teamwork, tiwala sa isa't isa, at camaraderie. Relaxed ngunit may pokus ang bawat grupo sa pagharap sa mga hamon para sa tagumpay ng kanilang koponan. 🏆🫶

Patuloy ang pag-arangkada ng ating MGSC Seminar 2026 at mas lalo pang nagiging sabik ang ating mga Girl Scout na matuto ngayong hapon! Todo-tutok ang lahat sa pagkuha ng mga bagong kaalaman na siguradong magagamit nila sa kanilang komunidad.

Para sa ating ikalawang talakayan, ibinahagi ng Guest Speaker na si Cadet GS Ai Tojo--kasalukuyang nagsisilbi bilang SCPB Chairperson. Ang kanyang husay at kaalaman tungkol sa "𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜" o ang tamang paraan ng pagpaplano ng mga proyekto at aktibidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng session na ito, kasalukuyang natutunan ng ating mga delegates kung paano maging organisado, madiskarte, at epektibong lider sa pag-abot ng kanilang mga layunin! 📊📋

Mas lalo pang naging kapana-panabik ang ating MGSC Seminar 2026 sa pagsisimula ng ating mga breakout session na pinangunahan ng MGSC Girl Clubs! Hinati ang ating mga Girl Scout sa magkakaibang grupo para sa mas masayang diskusyon tungkol sa pamumuno at pagtutulungan.

Sabay-sabay na tinanggap ng bawat grupo ang kanilang mga hamon! Para sa JJG-RTV Breakout Session, sinubukan ng mga delegates ang kanilang galing sa "𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩" sa gabay nina Sr. GS March Ramirez at Sr. GS Martina Belvis.

Samantala, puno naman ng hiyawan at bilis ang Saver Breakout Session para sa kanilang "𝘽𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚" sa pamumuno nina Sr. GS Julianna Navarra at Cdt. GS Ashley Salonga! 🎯🎲

Kasalukuyan nang nagaganap at buhay na buhay ang ating MGSC Seminar 2026 ngayong araw! Ang buong hall ay punong-puno ng lakas at saya mula sa ating mga Girl Scout na handang-handang matuto at maglakbay tungo sa mas magandang pamumuno.

Para sa ating unang discussion, masayang nagsimula ang programa sa isang nakatutuwang "𝙍𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙨 𝙋𝙪𝙯𝙯𝙡𝙚" game bago nagbahagi ang ating Guest Speaker na si Cadet Girl Scout Queen Hannah Diana Ruth Magusib tungkol sa 𝙒𝘼𝙂𝙂𝙂𝙎 𝙎𝙞𝙭 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙨. Sobrang daming magagandang tips at kaalaman na naman ang nakuha ng ating mga delegates! 💡📃
