This June, the UP Manila Red Cross Youth Council joins the observance of National Kidney Month, reinforcing the call for increased public awareness on kidney health and disease prevention.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is often asymptomatic in its early stages, making regular monitoring and early intervention essential. Improved access to information, routine checkups, and early screening can significantly contribute to kidney health and reduce long-term complications.

Let us advocate for preventive care and health education. Stay informed. Stay healthy.

For UPM constituents affected or exposed to leptospirosis (e.g. exposure to floods, etc.), please go to PGH Ambu Emergency Room for a doxycycline prophylaxis, free of charge. Bring UPM ID, and student/faculty must be physically present to receive treatment.
