As we enter the month of October, let us unite with the 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and the Bedan Community in solemn devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and meditate in Christ’s life during this 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆.

Let us reflect on the five Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary as we meditate on the Resurrection, Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption, and Coronation of Our Lady.

The Glorious Mysteries guide us to live out our faith with hope and purpose. Christ’s Resurrection reminds us to find hope in difficult times, while His Ascension calls us to use our gifts to stand for truth and justice. The Descent of the Holy Spirit fills us with wisdom and courage to serve, the Assumption reminds us of our innate human dignity, and the Coronation teaches us that true leadership comes through humble, loving service.

As we live out the teachings of these Glorious Mysteries, may our prayers inspire us to embody the spirit of compassion, peace, and love in our society.

That in all things God may be glorified!

Let us reflect on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary as we contemplate on the Passion and Death of our Lord, Jesus Christ, from his Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane to His Crucifixion on the Cross for all of humanity.

Just as the five Sorrowful Mysteries reveal Christ’s willingness to embrace suffering for the sake of humanity, Jesus took upon Himself the weight of human sin and offered Himself in love for our salvation. As we meditate upon these, may we remember that we are never alone in our suffering, for Christ understands our pain and walks with us through every trial. May we learn to see our struggles not simply as burdens, but as opportunities to deepen our faith, unite ourselves more closely with Christ, and find hope in His presence.

Malamang, naranasan na natin ito, yung pabiro nating tinatawag ang atensyon ng ating g**o. Kunwari ay may nag-aaway sa classroom, yun pala, may nakahandang mga bulaklak, cake, at kartolinang may nakasulat na “Happy Teachers’ Day”.

On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱, the 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 joins the world in celebrating the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 to honor the educators who persistently inspire young generations to learn, question, and dream. They help ensure a better future by molding students to become locally responsive, globally competitive, and empowered student leaders who act as agents of change in contributing to the betterment of the Filipino people.

Let us remember that celebrating teachers must go beyond flowers, cakes, and greetings. To truly honor them, we must recognize the realities they face and demand action for their heavy workloads, limited support, external and internal pressures, and many issues that affect their dignity, welfare, and wellbeing.

To make this day more meaningful, aside from saying “𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑀𝑎’𝑎𝑚/𝑆𝑖𝑟”, we must also ask ourselves what we can do to build an education system that not only cares for the students, but also protects the dignity, welfare, and wellbeing of our educators.

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 1906, the month of October is observed as the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡. A time for us to recognize traditions, stories, and wisdom that have been passed down through generations and remain an important part of who we are as Filipinos.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.

The postponement of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections raises important questions about accountability, democratic participation, and the rules that govern those entrusted with public office. With Republic Act No. 12326 moving the BSKE to November 2028 and extending the terms of incumbent officials, the importance of a fresh mandate from the people deserves serious discussion.
