On September 26, 2026, the UST COMELEC conducted the Miting de Avance, bringing together the candidates of the UST College of Business Administration and Commerce as they presented their platforms, shared their advocacies, and engaged with the Thomasian community.
The event served as an avenue for the candidates to articulate their visions, address questions, and introduce the principles and initiatives they hoped to bring forward. More than a culmination of the campaign period, the Miting de Avance provided the student body with an opportunity to listen, reflect, and take part in the democratic process of choosing their next student leaders.
With the conclusion of the proceedings and the election period, Janna Habon was formally proclaimed as the newly elected President of the UST CBASC, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the collegeβs student leadership.
As the voices of the student body continue to shape the direction of the college, may this election serve as a reminder of the importance of participation, informed choices, and responsible leadership.
