The Philippine Web Designers Organization (PWDO) is a non-stock, non-profit volunteer organization that aims to strengthen the community, champion excellence in crafting web user interfaces, and uplift the state of web design in the Philippines. We organize events to educate and sharpen the

skills and professionalism of Filipino web designers and developers. PWDO started in September 2008, when several of us gathered because we wanted to have a web design conference in the Philippines. We held the first MiniFFC by the end of October, registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit corporation in March the following year, and on July 10, 2009, held the first function & .class conference. Since then we've expanded our annual conference format to include workshops on Ruby on Rails, Branding & Front-End Workflow, a Junior FFC for students, and a pro-bono site building hackathon, Caritakathon, that benefits non-profit organizations and charities.

Want to present at the Figma Slides Party 🎉 but can’t think of anything? We got you covered!

Our team prepared a list of potential topics that you might want to talk about. We welcome ALL topics related to design and the future of technology, whether that’s sharing how you built your own website, your grand theories (or conspiracies 👀) about the world of design, or how you used design principles to help find your one true love (one true love??).

At the Figma Slides Party, you don’t have to be an expert at public speaking, you can just talk about the things that excite you the most. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Participation is FREE for both spectators and potential presenters. All presenters will be screened by the organizers and may be invited by FoFPH, Philippine Web Designers Organization, or UXPH as potential speakers in their communities’ respective meetups. We will prioritize presenters who apply with entertaining or thought-provoking topics.

ℹ️ If you’ve already signed up as an attendee but want to become a presenter, you can un-RSVP and then RSVP again and answer “yes” to the question, “Do you want to be a presenter?” and provide your possible topics for consideration.

NOTE: You will be given a new RSVP ticket after doing this. Make sure to save the newer RSVP QR ticket!

PWDO is coming out of hiatus this 2025, and to kick things off we're co-organizing a Figma Slides Party with Friends of Figma, Philippines and UXPH!

If you have some cool, thought-provoking, or unique ideas about web design, UI design, UX design, or the future of interactive technologies, we highly encourage you to sign up as a presenter!

All presenters have 5 minutes to present their topics. If you go overtime, you'll have to do a small challenge that will be revealed on the day of the event. 😉

Hope to see both old and new faces in our first in-person meetup after quite some time 🥰

On March 21 2025, Friends of Figma, Philippines, the Philippine Web Designers Organization, and UXPH are organizing a Figma Slides Party 🎉: a unique event format where presenters can talk (or perform!) about anything related to UI, UX, and the future of interactive technologies. 🧑‍💻

The catch? All presenters must present using Figma Slides in under 5 minutes or they must do a mystery challenge that will only be revealed on the day itself!

In this in-person meetup, you can expect:
✅ 3 hours of thought-provoking, unique, and (perhaps) funny presentations about design
✅ Hang out with some of the coolest individuals in the local UI, UX, and web design community
✅ Interacting with community leads and volunteers of FoFPH, PWDO, and UXPH communities
