To my beloved United Diwata Familia Inc. and One Diwata Organization Inc. family,
As I formally conclude my term as your President, I do so with a heart overflowing with gratitude, pride, and hope. Looking back on the past five years, I can truly say that this journey has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
These five years were never easy. We celebrated remarkable successes, achieved milestones we once only dreamed of, expanded our reach, built meaningful partnerships, and created programs that touched countless lives. At the same time, we also faced setbacks, disappointments, misunderstandings, financial struggles, and countless challenges that tested not only our organization but also our character as leaders and as one family.
Yet through every victory and every downfall, one thing remained constant, our commitment to serve our community and to stand together as one Diwata family.
My deepest gratitude goes to our Founder, Aldrew Sy, for believing in me and entrusting me with the responsibility of leading this organization. Thank you for your confidence, guidance, and unwavering trust throughout these years. I am equally grateful to every member of the Council, past and present, who stood beside me, shared the burden of leadership, and worked tirelessly for the betterment of our organization.
To all our former administrators, officers, volunteers, and members, thank you for becoming part of our history. Your dedication, sacrifices, and countless contributions have shaped the organization into what it is today. To our current officers and members, thank you for continuing the mission with passion and integrity. Every event, every outreach activity, every meeting, every challenge we overcame together will forever remain among my most treasured memories.
To our partner organizations, government agencies, private institutions, sponsors, collaborators, and friends, thank you for believing in our advocacy and supporting our mission through the years. Your partnership has been instrumental in every success we have achieved. Although I may be stepping down as President, I assure you that our collaboration will continue, as I remain committed to serving One Diwata Organization Inc. by handling our legal affairs and external relations. I look forward to strengthening the relationships we have built and creating even more opportunities together.
To my successor,
Congratulations on accepting one of the greatest responsibilities you will ever carry. Leadership is never about titles—it is about service, sacrifice, courage, and heart. There will be difficult days ahead. You will encounter criticism, challenges, disappointments, and even people who will try to discourage or oppose your vision. There may be enemies along the way, but never allow negativity to define your leadership.
Instead, let your integrity speak louder than your critics, let your compassion be greater than your anger, and let your purpose be stronger than every obstacle. Continue moving forward with humility, wisdom, and faith. Remember that every great leader is measured not by how many followers they have, but by how many lives they inspire and uplift.
I believe in you, and I know you will lead this organization to even greater heights.
Although my term as President has come to an end, my service does not end here. I will continue working behind the scenes, offering guidance, managing organizational matters whenever needed, and supporting the operational activities of United Diwata Familia Inc. I remain committed to ensuring that our mission continues and that our organization remains strong for generations to come.
This is not goodbye, it is simply the beginning of a new chapter of service.
As we continue our journey together, let us always remember the values that define who we are.
