Girls Got Game is a non-profit organisation that aims to empower women through sports by holding roving sports camps for girls in difficult economic conditions. Founded in Manila, Philippines and run by passionate ex-athletes, the camp aims to equip pre-teen girls with an athlete’s mind and body to help them rise out of their current situations. GGG advocates all sports that instill the values of

discipline, hard work, teamwork, confidence, and grit. We focus on four team sports:
- Basketball
- Football/Soccer
- Rugby
- Volleyball

During the camp, athletes are trained physically with skills and drills per sport, followed by a friendly scrimmage. They are also given mental and emotional training by female role models who share personal stories about their own experiences with sports. Ultimately, our vision is to empower young Filipinas with important life lessons through sports.

DAY 2 IS A WRAP! 💙💚

And just like that, another incredible GGG Marikina Camp comes to a close!

Over 100 young athletes showed up, ready to give their all, and that's exactly what they did. From dribbling past defenders on the basketball court to scoring goals on the football field, all the girls played with heart and joy.

What an incredible first day at the GGG 2026 Marikina Camp! 🎉

Over 100 young athletes showed up and brought their A-game to Fortune Elementary School. From powerful spikes on the volleyball court to fearless tackles in rugby, our girls proved that when they play, they grow in confidence, teamwork, and courage.

Coaches led with heart. Athletes trained with grit. Teams celebrated every point, every pass, every victory, big or small. 🙌

This is what Girls Got Game is all about. Creating spaces where girls can discover their strength, on and off the court.

A Philippine national rugby player and 2024 Asia Trophy Series Champion, Janin has represented the country in major international tournaments and now inspires the next generation as a coach and team leader.

🏐 Alexis "AC" Miner – Volleyball MVP Speaker
A professional PVL player for the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles and former Philippine National Team member, AC earned PVL Rookie of the Conference honors and is known for her versatility and resilience.

⚽ Kayla – Football MVP Speaker
A Philippine futsal goalkeeper, Kayla has competed in national and international tournaments while championing women's empowerment and leadership through sports.

🏀 Luisa San Juan – Basketball MVP Speaker
A UAAP record-holder and the only women's player to make 10 three-pointers in a single game, Luisa now plays professionally in the WMPBL while inspiring young athletes to pursue their dreams.

Since joining GGG in 2016, Coach Kimbo has grown from volunteer football coach and camp photographer to Head of Marketing & Communications in 2018, leading GGG's branding, social media, and partnerships while ensuring every story and milestone reaches our community.

Joining the team in 2026 is Coach Bea, who brings her background in communications, marketing, and publicity as she prepares for her very first Girls Got Game Sports Camp.

Together, they bring the GGG mission to life by telling meaningful stories, growing our community, and creating lasting connections both online and beyond. Every story they share, every moment they capture, and every connection they build helps inspire more girls to discover the confidence, leadership, and joy that sports can bring. ✨

It's time for another Roster Reveal Series as we introduce he amazing team behind every Girls Got Game camp, our Logistics Team! 📣

Since 2015, Coach Karla has been a driving force behind Girls Got Game, leading the Volleyball Program as Volleyball Director for a decade before transitioning to Logistics Head. Joining her is Coach Gen, who started with GGG in 2016 as a volunteer rugby coach, later becoming Rugby Sports Director and co-developing the rugby program before also stepping into the role of Logistics Head. Supporting them are two dedicated logistics team members, Coach Jes, who joined GGG in 2016 as a Team Captain and became part of the Core Team in 2018, and Coach Jeth, who joined in 2019 as a Team Captain. Together, they work behind the scenes to coordinate camp operations, prepare equipment and venues, support coaches and athletes, and ensure every detail is in place so every Girls Got Game experience runs safely, smoothly, and successfully. 💙💚

Their dedication, leadership, and teamwork allow our coaches to focus on what they do best, empowering the next generation of girls through sports.

🏀 Our Roster Reveal Continues as We Take the Court with Our Basketball Sports Directors.

The greatest victories happen beyond the scoreboard. Through every pass, every rebound, and every shot, the game becomes a platform to build confidence, resilience, and future leaders.

Sarrah has been part of GGG's journey since 2018, joining as a volunteer coach before becoming Basketball Sports Director and co-creating our basketball program. Aly joined GGG in 2020 and, through her dedication to every camp, stepped into the role of Basketball Sports Director in 2025.

Together, they're committed to empowering the next generation of athletes, helping every young player dream bigger, play harder, and lead with heart, both on and off the court.

The ball is in our hands. Let's take the shot and inspire the future of the game. ⛹️‍♀️

Every great match begins with a single kick, but it's passion, perseverance, and teamwork that turn dreams into victories. The greatest leaders don't just build winning teams, they inspire others to believe in themselves, rise after every challenge, and play with heart.

From volunteering at GGG's very first camp to serving as Football Sports Director, Co-Managing Director, and now returning to lead our football program in 2026, Gely has been an integral part of our journey. A former Ateneo Lady Booter, certified football and FIFA goalkeeper coach, and dedicated mentor, she continues to champion the values that make the beautiful game so powerful.

With every pass, every save, and every goal, Gely is committed to helping young athletes build confidence, resilience, and character both on and off the pitch.
