🩸𝙍𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙊𝙈 𝘽𝙇𝙊𝙊𝘿 𝙎𝙐𝙂𝘼𝙍 𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂🩸

The Sangguniang Kabataan, led by SK Chairman Prince Devela together with SK Aren Pantillano, conducted a Random Blood Sugar Testing activity for the residents of Barangay 615. The beneficiaries included mostly elders, adults, and youth.

This initiative aims to raise awareness and support the early detection of possible health concerns, such as elevated blood sugar levels that may indicate Diabetes Mellitus. Aside from the blood sugar testing, the SK Council also provided guidance on healthy food choices and simple lifestyle practices to help maintain normal blood sugar levels.

Through this activity, the SK Council hopes to further promote health and wellness among barangay residents and encourage them to become more proactive in making healthy lifestyle choices.

The Sangguniang Kabataan, led by SK Chairman Prince Angelo Devela, together with SK Kagawad Aren Pantillano, conducted a Vital Signs Monitoring session for first-sector residents of Barangay 615, covering various age groups. The initiative included the assessment of key health parameters such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.

💗𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁💗

The Sangguniang Kabataan, led by SK Chairman Prince Angelo Devela, conducted a house-to-house Random Blood Sugar Testing activity for third-sector residents of the barangay. This initiative formed part of the SK Council’s Valentine’s program and was designed to promote early health detection and awareness among residents of different age groups.

Through this effort, the council aimed to bring basic health services directly to households, making screening more accessible, especially for individuals who may not regularly visit health centers. The activity also sought to educate residents on the importance of monitoring blood sugar levels, preventing complications related to diabetes, and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices.

Schedules for the 1st Sector and 2nd Sector will follow to ensure that more residents across the barangay can benefit from the same free health screening services. By integrating public health into its Valentine’s initiatives, the SK Council highlighted its commitment to the overall well-being of the barangay and to proactive, community-centered service.

💗𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺💗

The Sangguniang Kabataan conducted a Feeding Program in celebration of Valentine’s Day, bringing warmth and care to the youth and residents of the barangay. The initiative aimed to promote proper nutrition and well-being by providing hot, nutritious meals, while also fostering a spirit of compassion, unity, and volunteerism.

The activity served not only as a way to address the nutritional needs of beneficiaries but also as an opportunity to strengthen the values of sharing and love as core themes of the Valentine’s celebration within the barangay.

The Sangguniang Kabataan extends its heartfelt gratitude to Congressman Benny Abante and Councilor Fog Abante for their generous support and sponsorship, which made this meaningful initiative possible and impactful for the barangay.

This Valentine’s season, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay 615 spreads love through meaningful programs and services for the youth and the barangay. Join us in our Valentine’s Celebration:

- Feeding Program on February 7, 2025 (9:00 AM) generously sponsored by Congressman Benny Abante and Councilor Fog Abante

- Free Random Blood Sugar Testing on February 8 and 15 (7am)

We also invite all eligible youth ages 15-30 years old to take part in our ongoing KK Profiling. Simply scan the QR code to register and be officially part of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay 615.
