As we celebrate Linggo ng Kabataan this August 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council proudly prepares a series of meaningful and empowering activities designed to inspire, engage, and unite the youth. Through these initiatives, we aim to encourage active participation, strengthen community involvement, and make a positive and lasting impact on our barangay.

The Sangguniang Kabataan and the Barangay Council of Barangay 615 successfully conducted the Annual Gabi ng Parangal 2026 on May 10, 2026, a special recognition program dedicated to honoring the outstanding achievements of hardworking, dedicated, and exemplary students from the Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School levels. This meaningful event celebrated not only academic excellence but also the perseverance, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by the youth in their educational journey.

The Fiesta Celebration in Barangay 615 became even more vibrant and festive as the energy and enthusiasm of the youth filled the barangay during Palarong Lahi 2026. Children and youths eagerly lined up to participate in the fun-filled and exciting traditional games, each carrying the thrill of winning cash prizes.

Laughter, teamwork, and camaraderie could be seen throughout the activity as participants showcased not only their skills and competitiveness, but also the true spirit of unity and Filipino culture. The event brought together residents of different ages, strengthening friendships and creating joyful memories for everyone present.

The Sangguniang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Council made the celebration even more meaningful and memorable by actively leading and participating in the activities. In celebration of Fiesta 2026, Barangay 615 was treated to a sweet surprise as Chairman Marilyn Manlapaz and SK Chairman Prince Devela teamed up to sponsor free taho activity. This simple yet heartfelt gesture brought together the barangay to enjoy a warm cup of their favorite silken tofu and syrup. It wasn't just about the free snack; it was a way for the barangay and SK leaders to kick off the festivities with a sense of togetherness and Filipino hospitality.
