Migratory birds pass through Philippine skies every year on long routes that connect the Arctic to Southeast Asia. In the Philippines, they are not just passing visitors; they are part of healthy ecosystems, helping maintain balance in wetlands, coastal areas, and other habitats by contributing to food webs and biodiversity.

The 2026 World Migratory Bird Day theme is “𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬 – 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫!”, which highlights the importance of community participation and bird monitoring in supporting migratory bird conservation across global flyways.

World Migratory Bird Day 2026 focuses on the need to protect the ecosystems these birds rely on. These areas are increasingly affected by habitat loss and climate change, making local conservation efforts more important.

Protecting their habitats benefits both wildlife and the local communities that depend on them for livelihood and resources. Your next bird sighting could make a difference! Step outside, spot a bird, and share your observation because every bird you record helps protect their journey!

𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐢𝐬: 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐀𝐖𝐒? 💚

Many of our rescues come from cases of cruelty, neglect, or abandonment. Before they are adopted, we make sure they receive the care they deserve, so they can heal and be ready for their furever home.

All our animals are already kapon. This helps them live longer, healthier lives and prevents unwanted litters. They are also regularly vaccinated, dewormed, and treated as needed.

Through our active volunteer program, they are socialized and trained, so they become more comfortable with people, play, and everyday interactions 🫂 Many are also microchipped, so they can be identified and brought back home if they ever get lost.

Even with all of this, adoption rate remains low. Fees are 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 ₱𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 ₱𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬, which is a small price, considering the care they have already received 🤗

And when you adopt, you are not just changing one life. You also open up space in the shelter for another animal in need 🥰

𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡, 𝐖𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮! 🌎💛

She breathes in the hush of forests, sings in the rhythm of waves, and lingers in the quiet bloom of things we often pass by. The Earth is not just a place but rather it is a living, aching, beautiful story, and we are written into every chapter of it.🌿

Every 22nd day of April, we are called not only to celebrate her beauty, but to remember our role within her story, like Trainers entrusted not just to catch, but to care. Habitat loss, pollution, and climate change continue to threaten the survival of various flora and fauna, as if the balance of the world is slowly losing its Legendary protectors. 🐾🌎

Their survival is our responsibility, because when nature thrives, we all thrive, just like a world where every Pokémon, from the smallest Bug-type to the mightiest Legendary, has a place to belong. So let us choose to act, restore, and protect this shared habitat we call home. ⚡🌱

Everything is 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙. When one part of the network is lost, the whole thing glitches and we 𝗮𝗹𝗹 feel the weight of that silence.

As the climate change worsens, animals are compelled to face new harsh realities. Man-made ecological damage affects the world and its animals' habitats. Their everyday experience includes the loss of their home, shortage of their food and resources, change of their behavior, and even their survival mode 😿

These existing environmental problems should be prioritized and should lead us to take an immediate long-lasting solution and action 🤍. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦! Help set the world easy and comfortable for the animals to live the beautiful life of nature.

Protect the serene seas and lush forests by supporting climate policies and conditions that may help reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, advocate for the shift to the renewable and sustainable energies, and also conserve the ecosystem ☀️⚡️🪸
