I feel so Internal Auditing right now. 🫩

“Kulang sa assurance?”
“Hindi nag-take ng risk?”

It’s midterms szn already, and everything is about to be tested. 📚

Ayaw mong mag-take ng risk sa exam, so you study.
Ayaw mo rin mag-take ng risk sa relationship, kaya nag-a-assess muna ng situation.
May potential risk, may uncertainty, pero minsan… kailangan mo rin talagang mag-take ng chance.

As future auditors, we give assurance, but sometimes, we’re also the ones looking for assurance.

Assurance na papasa tayo.
Assurance na magiging okay ang lahat.
Assurance that maybe, just maybe, every risk acceptance is worth it.

Pero hindi naman lahat ng bagay kailangan natin ma-audit.

Sometimes, you do your best, take the risk, and trust the process.

So this midterms, gather your evidence, assess those risks, and don’t forget to believe in yourself.

Just because the findings are not favorable, hindi ibig sabihin failed ka na.
Some things are simply lessons, while others turn out to be the best outcomes you never expected.

Good luck, future auditors! May your exams be passed, your risks be worth taking, and your assurance finally be sufficient. ✨

With nearly 25 years in the education sector, Mr. Ramil Baldres brings extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and internal audit education. He currently serves as Department Chair of the Internal Auditing program at Far Eastern University (FEU), where he helps prepare future-ready internal audit professionals.

A CPA and Certified Internal Auditor, Mr. Baldres also brings professional internal audit experience from Universal Robina Corporation, giving him a valuable perspective that bridges professional practice and academe.
