USTAA OFFICERS 2026-2028
At the helm, elected to lead USTAA is Ms. Vangie Leones. Sheโs a pioneer of USTAA and sheโs a graduate of BS Electronics and Communications Engineering (Class of 1979). She brings to her strong leadership skills and extensive expertise in information technology.
Newly elected on the Board are:
Techie Sarbalus, who takes on the role of secretary. Ms. Sarbalus is a Medical Technology graduate (1980) and is an active parish ministry volunteer.
Mr. James Tekiko as PRO. James Tekiko, who slips into the role of PRO, is a BS Nursing (1991) graduate. He has a 35-year nursing career and dabbles in various entertainment platforms.
Ms. Fiori Cruz as VP for Queensland. Fiori Cruz is a double alumna having completed her high school and BS Commerce (1962) degree at UST. She is dedicated lifelong community volunteer with various Queensland-based community organisations.

Dr. Myrna Jover as VP for NSW
Marina Ruivivar as VP for Victoria
Cielo Franklin as VP for WA
Roma Abarquez as Internal Auditor
Mr. Rodi Orantia (re-elected as Treasurer)
Alma Pablo as VP for SA
Immediate Past President Ms. Len Puzon remains on the board as an ex-officio. Pioneers Ms. Kate Andres continues in her advisory role and Founding President, Ms. Benjie de Ubago remains the Public Officer.

With renewed enthusiasm, the new Board for 2026 looks forward to celebrating this milestone occasion, with many exciting plans and surprises ahead for the Thomasian community.
