was founded on May 7, 2002 that works for and with Filipino Cured Leprosy Patients in easing the stigma against Leprosy and in rehabilitation and resettlement of those cured of the disease. SUFI has also catered Homeless and Displaced Individuals and Families, Underpriviledged Children, and Disadvantaged Indigeneous People of the Philippines. The inspiration came from miles away, from Sorok Island

A. SOROK โ SAMARIA VILLAGE
A rehabilitation center for the homeless and abandoned Hansenites. Located beside the main leprosarium in the country, Sorok - Samaria Village nurtures the bodies and the bruised spirits of those who seek its shelter. The Sorok โ Samaria Management is working closely with the Tala Hansenites Council and the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in promoting and protecting the welfare of l***rs, both those cured and under treatment. SOROK UNI VILLAGE
A resettlement area in Brgy. San Jose, San Antonio, Quezon province. In an effort to reintegrate the Hansenites to mainstream society, the Foundation trains them for farming and other agricultural activities. They are encouraged to be self-sufficient, to be Christ-like in character and to strive to be positive contributors to the community. The improvement in the lives of the new settlers is amazing. As such, we are looking forward to seeing this community grow and prosper. SOROK โ MCS VILLAGE
In the village a day care center was created. An educational program to the Muslim Hansenite community in Mindanao. Morning sessions are held for pre-school children. They served daily with breakfast. The mothers attend the afternoon classes for basic and advanced literacy lessons.
