🌱 World Environment Day 2026 🌱

Last June 5 was World Environment Day, where the newly elected Executive Board of the Christian Community Development (CCD), together with their moderator Ms. Sharon Joy Castroñero, joined the World Environment Day Climate Strike organized by Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines (YACAP).

The event served as a space for youth to engage with the climate movement and take part in calls for environmental justice. Participants stood in solidarity against environmental plunder, raising urgent concerns such as the proposed SALEX project and calling on world leaders to prioritize the protection of both people and the planet.
