Despivia~ I love Minions . . but would I use them as my partylist mascot? Hm. . So lets talk about their campaign vid. There’s nothing much I could say about it… cause they didn’t really give much. Where’s the content?! You know something’s wrong when the Minion intro video is 12s long… longer than any of the candidate’s answers. And after that 12s Minion vid, they come in together saying something unintelligible. I had to go back a few times just to understand what they said but I still didnt get it. Minionese is clearer than that. I said this before but subtitles are really important!
Dzoie was okay but the background mess bothered me, should’ve chosen a better area to take the vid. Among all the Despi candidates, Kendra is probably the only one who stood out. She was clear, concise and prepared. I’d vote for her. Myra did pretty okay too . . G10 batch rep said only one very simple sentence and he couldn’t even memorize it. Actually even the other candidates were obviously reading their one liners. Vennice has a great speaking voice but couldve been better if it didnt seem like she was reading her script. But the one line from G8 batch rep really stood out “Us leaders will also serve as leading or being examples, a role model” Bcoz What are you saying?! The sentence is not sentencing. G7 batch rep is a cute bebi. Was the long Minion intro not enough that you just had to put another long Minion video at the end. Overall this video is Bananonina. King Bob would have given better answers. The theme is cute I’ll give you that. . but this is the JHS SC aint it? IMHO, The Sc needs student leaders, not minions. Pun intended.
