Flipping open the class folder and look what we found, it’s the 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙗! 🗂️✨ Like pressed flowers in a scrapbook or cute little notes in the margins, you add something special to the story we’re all writing together. Each of you brings your own energy, whether it’s quiet and steady or loud and radiant, and it matters more than you know.

Tuwing 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟏 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨, ginugunita natin ang 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚. Sa karamihan, ito ay nagsisilbing pahinga sa gitna ng nakakapagod na linggo. Ngunit ang tunay na diwa nitong unang araw ng Mayo ay makikita sa bakas ng pawis at dugo ng Manggagawang Pilipino sa libro ng ating kasaysayan.

Sa ating panahon, sa kabila ng pagsubok ng kasalukuyang klima at mga politikal at ekonomikal na suliranin, ay ating nadarama ang pagsulong ng bawat Manggagawang Pilipino tungo sa ika-uunlad ng kanilang pamilya, na siya ding dahilan ng pag-unlad ng ating bansa. Umulan o umaraw, may mga tsuper binabagtas ang aspalto ng highway; mga manggagawa sa konstruksyon na tinitiis ang delikadong init ng panahon; mga nars na naglilingkod sa bawat pasyente ng isang abalang ospital. Ilan lamang ito sa ngalan ng mga Manggagawang Pilipino na nagsisilbing pundasyon sa pambansang produksyon.

Bilang pagpapahalaga sa kanilang pang araw-araw na tagumpay (bagkus isang malaking tagumpay ang masuportahan ang pangangailangan ng pamilya sa pamamagitan ng malinis at marangal na trabaho) at ang kanilang walang pagod na pakikibaka upang makamit ang kasalukuyang kondisyon sa paggawa, ay ating inilalaan ang araw na ito para sa kanila. Mabuhay ang mga Manggagawang Pilipino!

Isang himagsikang walang armas, hindi ginamitan ng dahas, ngunit nakapagdulot ng malalaking pagbabago o reporma sa larangan ng politika, lipunan, at ekonomiya ng ating bansa.
Nararapat lamang na balikan at pag-alabin pa muli ang diwa ng EDSA—isang paalala na ang tunay na kapangyarihan ay nasa taumbayan. Sa kabila ng pagtatangkang burahin o baluktutin ang kasaysayan, hindi natin hahayaang malimutan ang ipinaglaban ng taumbayan.

Kahit itinakda itong isang Special Working Day.
Kahit HINDI ito sinuspende ng administrasyon ng PUP at iba pang state universities.
Kahit na ang diktador na pinatalsik noon ay ama ng nakaluklok ngayon.
