A Scout is ALWAYS PREPARED - but no one is prepared for a losing a friend, a Scout Leader, a father, a husband, a brother.

A Scout is CHEERFUL - but how can we smile when lose someone along the way?

A Scout is BRAVE - but are we brave enough to face the reality that he is gone?

But since a Scout is REVERENT - we believe that the person who said goodbye to us is already in the loving arms of our Great Scoutmaster.

We continue to pray for the soul of Sir Jessy - may he be received in the final camping grounds with our Great Scoutmaster.

the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Manila Council marks a significant double milestone!

We gathered in faith and fellowship for a Thanksgiving Mass to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of the Inauguration of the Manila Council Scouting Center. This building stands as a testament to our commitment to molding the youth and serving the community.

Following our spiritual nourishment, our adult leaders transitioned into the digital frontier for the Scout Leaders’ Cybersecurity Awareness Training. In an ever-evolving digital world, we are ensuring our leaders are equipped to protect our scouts both on the field and online.

𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘀!

We are bursting with pride as Padre Jose Burgos Elementary School soared to new heights at the recent Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) - Manila Council Annual Council Meeting held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila.

Our scouts didn't just participate; they led the way, bringing home three major awards that showcase the heart and soul of our scouting program:

• 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Recognizing our scouts' dedication to mastering new skills and climbing the ranks.

• 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 – A testament to the hard work of our leaders and the sharp discipline of our troop.

• 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – Proof that we know how to turn service and learning into an unforgettable adventure!

These awards are a reflection of the unwavering support of our teachers, parents, and the tireless spirit of our young scouts. You have proven that with "Laging Handa" as our motto, there’s no limit to what we can achieve!
