PAFPI HCT Batch 1 Training

The PAFPI HCT Batch 1 Training was successfully conducted from March 23 to 27, 2026, at the Bayview Park Hotel, Ermita, Manila.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Celestino Ramirez, Mr. Ryan Pinili, and Ms. Dev, whose expertise and dedication contributed significantly to the successful delivery of the program.

The activity was also supported by key officials and staff of the Positive Action Foundation Philippines, Inc. (PAFPI), including Mr. Emmanuel Garcia, President of PAFPI; Mr. Eduard Russell Sediño, Vice President and Training Coordinator; and Mr. Andres de Leon, Finance Staff.

Their collective leadership, coordination, and commitment played an essential role in ensuring the smooth implementation of the training and in strengthening PAFPI’s continuing efforts toward effective capacity-building and community development.

The PAFPI HCT Batch 6 Training was successfully conducted from April 20 to 24, 2026, at the Bayview Park Hotel, Ermita, Manila.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Celestino Ramirez, Mr. Ryan Pinili, and Ms. Dev, whose expertise and dedication contributed significantly to the successful delivery of the program.

HIV Counseling to Testing Training, enhances HIV Service Capacity: Trained counselors increase the number of facilities capable of offering safe, ethical, and voluntary HIV testing, expanding access in both public and private sectors.

Strengthens Linkage to Care: Skilled counselors ensure that HIV-positive individuals are promptly linked to treatment and support services, and HIV-negative clients receive prevention guidance.

Reduces Stigma and Promotes Awareness: Counselors trained in client-centered, empathetic communication help reduce HIV-related stigma in communities and empower clients to practice prevention and treatment adherence

Ensures Ethical and Safe Practice: By emphasizing confidentiality, informed consent, post-test counseling, and ethical testing procedures, HCT training minimizes risk of psychological harm and increases trust in DOH-supported HIV programs.

PAFPI HCT Batch 5 Training

The PAFPI HCT Batch 5 Training was successfully conducted from June 22 to 26, 2026 at the Bayview Park Hotel, Ermita, Manila.
