🚨 Α𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦, 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 Η𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚. 🚨

With the continuous heavy rains in recent days, flooding may occur in some areas. This also increases the risk of leptospirosis—a bacterial infection that can be acquired through water or mud contaminated with the urine of infected animals, especially rats.

Floodwater can carry bacteria that cause leptospirosis. During the rainy season, protect yourself by:
• Avoiding floodwater when possible
• Wearing boots and gloves
• Keeping wounds covered
• Washing exposed skin with soap and water

Know the symptoms and learn how to prevent infection. Stay alert, stay safe, and never ignore the warning signs.
