CANLUBANG CALAMBA ESTATE 103 LIONS CLUB SPREADS JOY AND SUPPORT IN SAN RAMON KAPAYAPAAN VILLE CANLUBANG! 🦁❤️
--HUNGER WEEK CHALLENGE--

On January 06, 2026, our club carried out two meaningful initiatives to help our community – with preparations starting as early as 8 AM and wrapping up by 12 NN:

✅ Adopt a Family and Gift Giving Activity – Sponsored by our couple Lions member Jake/ Div Breeze and Lions Jun/Eva Catalan .. this program brought cheer to 10 families from San Ramon Kapayapaan Ville. Each family received a grocery package, while the children were given chocolates and cash to bring extra smiles to their faces.
✅ Feeding Activity – Part of Lions International’s Global Cause for Hunger, sponsored by Catalan's Kids. which also benefited several private workers.

We extend special thanks to our future members Boy/Chat Jervoso and Mhel Bautista who served as our Volunteer Coordinators for the area – their invaluable help was key in identifying and bringing together all the beneficiaries for the event.

From setup and meal preparation to distributing gifts and serving food, the entire activity ran smoothly with the leadership of our PRC/PZC/Club President Jun Catalan 2PMJF and CP/Zone Chair Eva Catalan 2PMJF. We were joined by 4 Lions members, 1 Leo member, and 4 dedicated non-Lions volunteers who gave their time from start to finish.

For the feeding program, we served hearty meals of Canton-Bihon, p**o, boiled eggs, and bottled water. The beneficiaries were overjoyed and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gifts and warm meals.. a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference!
