Marilao Anti-Drug Abuse Council Partners with Yeshua Change Agent to Educate Youth on the Dangers of Drug Abuse
The Marilao Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor and Vice Mayor, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Municipal Health Office, successfully conducted a two-part drug prevention seminar aimed at educating the youth on the harmful effects of illegal drug use.
Held on September 12 and 18, 2025, the seminar took place at Barcelona Academy in Marilao, Bulacan, drawing participation from over 800 Junior and Senior High School students. The event was part of the municipality's continuing efforts to promote a drug-free community and instill awareness and responsibility among the younger generation.
A highlight of the event was the presence of Coach Danilo Quiambao, National President of Yeshua Change Agent, along with his dynamic team: Coach Daniel Quiambao, Coach Karen Quiambao, and Coach Mary Rose Banag. Their powerful messages and motivational coaching left a lasting impact on the students, making the experience both meaningful and inspiring.
Through engaging talks, real-life testimonies, and interactive sessions, the speakers highlighted the devastating effects of drug abuse—not only on individuals but also on their families and communities. They encouraged students to make wise choices, prioritize their education, and commit to living drug-free lives.
This initiative underscores the strong commitment of the local government and its partners to safeguard the well-being of Marilao’s youth and foster a healthier, safer, and drug-free community.
To God be all the glory!
