๐‘๐ž๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐: Last August 27, the Joint Maritime Committee held its monthly meeting at the German Club in Makati. โš“

At this session, the Hellenic-ASEAN Business Council, along with fellow committee members from the Philippines-Norway Business Council and several European chambers across the nation, gathered to hear Mr. Joost Mes, a former shipping professional, who imparted his insights on maritime operations.

With 24 years under his belt, Mr. Mes shared his experience in crew management, unpacked seafarer workforce reports, and provided a SWOT analysis of the maritime industry in the Philippines, enriching attendees' understanding of deployment matters and common challenges and opportunities in the sector.

The Council remains determined to broaden its knowledge of the maritime sector and is once again grateful to all who made this session happen.

๐‘๐ž๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐: The Hellenic-ASEAN Business Council officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Makati Business Club, Inc.

The agreement was signed last April 22, 2026, by HABC Executive Director Ms. Katerina Karakehagia and MBC Deputy Executive Director Ms. Michelle Dee.

Under this agreement, both organizations formalized their partnership, committing to facilitate meaningful business engagements, trade missions, and dialogues, and to exchange market intelligence and investment insights. This MOU reflects both organizations' shared endeavor to explore greater opportunities and deepen economic ties. ๐Ÿค

๐‘๐ž๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐: The Hellenic-ASEAN Business Council, represented by Executive Director Ms. Katerina Karakehagia, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Dennis Chan, at Mama Lou's Premio Ristorante last April 17.

The MOU signifies both parties' commitment to strengthening cooperation in aerospace, aviation, and defense-related industries, amplifying aerospace opportunities across the Philippines, Europe, and ASEAN, and facilitating skills development programs and other collaborative initiatives.
