🔴Community Lunch Service with Local Seniors in Seongbuk-gu -IAYSP Korea 🇰🇷

On February 28, a community volunteer event was held at the Samtaegi Village Community Center in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The team had the privilege of welcoming 15 senior residents from the local neighborhood for a warm and meaningful gathering.

The volunteers prepared a homemade meal featuring Dakbokkeumtang (Korean spicy braised chicken) along with a variety of side dishes. Through cooking and sharing food together, participants were able to enjoy fellowship and strengthen connections within the community.

Many of the seniors expressed their appreciation for seeing young people who were born and raised in Seongbuk-gu actively serving their local community. They shared that the dedication and compassion demonstrated by the volunteers gave them a sense of hope for the future.

The event served as a reminder of the importance of intergenerational solidarity and community engagement. Participants expressed their desire to continue working together to build a warmer, more caring Seongbuk-gu where neighbors support and encourage one another.

Through small acts of service and meaningful relationships, the community continues to take steps toward creating a stronger and more connected neighborhood for all generations.

🔴Session 1 of Peace Designer in the Bronx- IAYSP USA

On April 23rd, IAYSP USA had the opportunity to host the first Peace Designer session at a local high school in the Bronx. Peace Designer education is part of a larger campaign to engage high school students and youth communities in the northeast region to understand the importance of global citizenry and civic engagement.

Session 1 introduced IAYSP USA and Peace Designers, which empower youth to create their own peace projects and make a positive impact in their communities. The concept of positive peace was emphasized, and how we all play a role in initiating change.

The session ended with a mission for everyone to scout their environment and look for issues around them that need a solution, and to brainstorm an idea to improve it.

🔴INNOV8PEACE Project Concludes with Final Conference at the University of Tetova 💫

On March 25, 2026, the INNOV8PEACE Project—implemented by IAYSP Europe and the Middle East (EUME) in cooperation with the University of Tetova and co-funded by the European Union—concluded with its final conference, “From Youth Initiatives to Sustainable Peace.”

The event gathered distinguished leaders, academics, and peace advocates. A panel discussion with regional experts highlighted the critical role of youth engagement in sustaining peace.
A special highlight was the appointment of new Ambassadors for Peace, recognizing individuals contributing to dialogue and social progress.

The conference also showcased youth-led initiatives developed through the INNOV8PEACE training, including projects on social deprivation, anti-corruption education, and inclusive education—demonstrating the impact of empowering young leaders in building a more peaceful future.

🔴Youth with Vision Project-IAYSP Brazil 🇧🇷

On March 3, 2026, IAYSP Brazil delivered a presentation of the Youth with Vision Project to high school students at EE PEI Joanna Spósito.

During the session, the organization introduced the project, which will be offered as an elective course. The presentation gave students the opportunity to better understand the initiative and consider enrolling for participation in the current semester.

The project aims to create a space for reflection, dialogue, and personal development, encouraging young people to think about their purpose, make thoughtful choices, and shape their future.💫💫

🔴Community Service and Environmental Appreciation Activity- IAYSP Phiippines✨

On January 23, 2026, a meaningful initiative took place in Ranzo, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, bringing together volunteers from Korea and Japan alongside local students.

Participants carried out community service at Ranzo Elementary School, offering support and encouragement to young learners. The program also included an environmental activity at Ranzo Fish Sanctuary, raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources.

Through this initiative, participants demonstrated the power of unity, compassion, and collective action in fostering stronger communities and a more sustainable future.

🔴Empowered Women, Healthier Communities: Caring, Sharing, and Saving Lives- IAYSP Philippines

On March 16, 2026, at the Technological University of the Philippines – Manila, a meaningful symposium brought together students to explore key topics on health, responsibility, and personal values.

The program featured insightful talks by Rey Hikaru Estoce and Reiko Helen Jane Arellano on HIV awareness and responsible choices for youth. An inspiring message was also delivered by Jun Young Teves, emphasizing integrity, responsibility, and purpose among young people.

Through these discussions, participants gained valuable insights to navigate modern challenges and make informed, purpose-driven decisions—empowering them to contribute to healthier communities and a culture of peace.

🔴SDG Talk: Beyond the Bin!- IAYSP Prague
On November 29, the YSP Prague team proudly hosted its first SDG Talk, “Beyond the Bin,” at Campus Hybernská. The event focused on SDG Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, inviting participants to reflect on how everyday choices impact the planet.
The program featured an insightful Environment & Sustainability talk by Ing. Jan Kocourek, who shed light on current challenges and practical approaches to more sustainable living. Participants also enjoyed a vibrant Swap Corner, where clothes and books found new owners, promoting reuse and mindful consumption.
In addition, a Personal Eco-Footprint Quiz encouraged attendees to assess their own environmental impact and discover simple, actionable ways to reduce it.
The event was a space for sharing ideas, inspiration, and concrete tips—proving that small, conscious choices can lead to meaningful change.
