Welcome. This is the official page of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila’s Tanggapan ng Kalinga.
Tanggapan ng Kalinga is the High School Unit’s outreach program arm. In its commitment to advance “Education for Social Justice and Transformation,” the unit’s Outreach Program has been one of the most essential elements of the high school curriculum.
“The goal of the Outreach Program is to empower and motivate its adopted communities to act effectively towards self-reliance and to raise the consciousness of the High School community with regard to its role as social catalyst.
“Ultimately, the Outreach Program hopes that the communities it serves, both inside and outside school, will take responsibility in shaping their own lives, the community they live in, and the environment that surrounds them.”
