MEDALYA NG KAGALINGAN!
Another service award was given to TEAM DPIOU for the successful arrest of Most Wanted Person, proudly represented by Pcpl Errhol G Aguila during the NCRPO Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on June 3, 2024.
The National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of PMGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, JR, Regional Director, conducted its Traditional Monday Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony, a significant event honoring the organization's unwavering dedication and exceptional service to public service. The ceremony was held at the NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on June 3, 2024, hosted by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – NCR.
The ceremony highlighted the exceptional contributions of NCRPO personnel in various critical operations, particularly in anti-illegal drugs and anti-criminality campaigns.
For the arrest of Gerrard Raymund Talusan Yu during the follow-up operation in connection with the road rage that resulted to the shooting incident on May 28, 2024, the Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to PCOL EDWARD MADLAENG CUTIYOG, SPD.
For the arrest of Aureo Alota Cabus, Jr during the service of warrant of arrest that resulted in the recovery of Php85 million worth of illegal drugs on May 30, 2024, the Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to PCPT ALDRICK VILLANUEVA ZAMORA, RHQ.
For accomplishments on the anti-illegal drugs campaign through buy-bust operations that resulted in the arrest of various individuals for violation of R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of
2002, and the recovery of a large number of illegal drugs, the Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to the following personnel:

For the arrest of the suspect during the follow-up operation for the crime of murder on May 18, 2024, the Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to PCMS MARK WARREN TINO, SPD.
For the arrest of the suspect during the follow-up operation for the crime of robbery hold-up on May 25, 2024, the Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to PCPT MARVIN CHESTER MONDALA DORADO, EPD.
For the arrest of the suspect during the immediate response on a robbery snatching incident on May 26, 2024, The Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to Pat LEANDER JED GOMEZ GARRA, QCPD.
In grateful recognition of his remarkable achievements which contributed to the attainment of jail bureau’s mission, vision, and objectives that made him BJMPRO-NCR’s Top 1 Best District Jail Warden for the 1st quarter in 2024. The Certificate of Recognition was awarded TO JSINSP HERNAND AMOR C MACOY.
During the ceremony, PBGEN ROLLY S OCTAVIO, CRS, NCRPO, reiterated the directives set forth by the Regional Director and the Chief, PNP in regards to the strict adherence to document and information security policy to prevent classified document leaks, enforcement of the delinquency report (DR) system to address infractions such as tardiness and unauthorized absences, and mandatory compliance with the proper use of PNP belts and buckles as detailed in recent memorandums.
Furthermore, PBGEN OCTAVIO also reminded the prohibition of mobile force personnel, including Regional and District Mobile Force Battalions, from serving as Protective Security Personnel (PSP), except under specific conditions outlined in PNP Memorandum Circulars No. 2019-006 and 2021- 058. The Regional Medical and Dental Unit’s clinical laboratory is now fully operational, offering essential medical tests. Additionally, regular inspections and maintenance of all operational equipment in preparation for La Niña to ensure readiness for increased rainfall and potential flooding.
