Our recent publication emphasizes the urgent need to integrate mental health care into the management of haematological malignancies. Evidence shows that targeted psychological and supportive interventions can meaningfully improve coping, resilience, and overall patient outcomes.

We are grateful for the support of the Marlon Garzo Saria (MGS) Grant of the Philippine Oncology Nurses Association, Inc. (PONA) in making this work possible.

1 DAY TO GO.

Tomorrow, we gather not just as professionals—but as one community committed to transforming cancer care in the Philippines.

Alyssa Jenny Tupaz, MA, RN—President of the Philippine Oncology Nurses Association and Board Member of the PCS Cancer Commission Foundation—reminds us:

“Cancer is more than a diagnosis or a statistic; it is a profound disruption that affects the body, mind, and spirit, the quality of life of families, and the fabric of our communities. To save lives, we must shift our focus beyond treatment toward aggressive health promotion, prevention, and early detection. At the Philippine National Cancer Summit 2026, we unite to ensure that holistic, person-centered care becomes the standard for every Filipino family.”

Cancer care must care for the whole person.
And it must begin long before diagnosis.

⏳ Tomorrow, we move from awareness to action.

Join us at the Philippine National Cancer Summit 2026—and be part of building a future where prevention, compassion, and person-centered care define the standard for every Filipino.

Better care doesn’t happen by chance — it happens when we move from intention to action. Let’s bridge the gaps in Philippine cancer care together.

Better cancer care doesn’t happen by chance—it happens when communities come together. 💜

Over the past years, the Philippine National Cancer Summit has brought together leaders, advocates, professionals, and institutions to push cancer care forward—shaping policies, strengthening partnerships, and centering the voices that matter most.

In 2026, we move further.

The PCS Cancer Commission Foundation (PCS CanCom) invites changemakers across government, healthcare, civil society, patient groups, academe, the private sector, and advocacy communities to be part of a growing cancer care community committed to real, lasting impact.

This is where conversations turn into collaboration—and collaboration into real change for patients, families, and survivors.

Let’s move from intention to action, ensuring that every Filipino affected by cancer is seen, heard, and supported.

This we are !

The World Cancer Day theme for 2025–2027, United by Unique, places people of all ages — children and adults — at the centre of care and their stories at the heart of the conversation. It recognises that every cancer experience is different, yet our shared responsibility to patients and families unites us all.

At ICPCN, this is reflected in our book of family stories, Heart Strings, which shares the voices and experiences of families and CPC. Read it here: https://bit.ly/3NTQjF6
