Our legitimate seat remains at 1316 Cavite St., Tondo, Manila, under the leadership of Grand Master Lestat Jongco.

Any organization claiming the name “Gran Logia Soberana del Archipielago Filipino / Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Philippines” and represented by Mr. Mc Aldous “Makdo” Castañares is NOT affiliated, recognized, or connected with our jurisdiction.

This advisory is issued to guide brethren and the public in directing inquiries to the proper authority. For official matters, please contact us through our Manila office.

That single line defined the Centennial message of MW Lestat Jongco. The strength of the Gran Logia Soberana was never in buildings or titles, but in the Hermanos who stayed when it was hard, believed when it was uncertain, and chose Light over darkness, Justice over comfort, and Hope over despair.

The lesson is clear: an institution survives only because its people do. A century was built by faith, sacrifice, and brotherhood, and that same spirit now carries us forward.

One century completed. Another begins now. And as long as one Mason stands for the Light, Soberana will endure. So mote it be.

CHRISTMAS IS NOT A DATE, IT IS A DECISION

A Grand Master’s Christmas Message to Families Everywhere and to All Masons, Whithersoever Dispersed.

At Christmas, the world slows down just long enough to remember what truly holds it together. Not power. Not wealth. Not titles. But love that chooses to stay, light that refuses to fade, and hope that dares to rise even in the darkest hours. Christmas is not merely celebrated, it is lived. It is the moment when heaven reminds humanity that the greatest strength is gentleness, and the highest authority is service.

For every family, this season calls us back to our first lodge: the home. Where patience is practiced, forgiveness is learned, and character is shaped quietly, day by day. Christmas asks us a bold question: Who are we becoming when no one is watching? Because the true measure of a man or woman is not found in applause, but in love freely given, especially when it costs something.

To all Masons, whithersoever dispersed, Christmas renews the ancient charge we carry. We are builders, not of stone alone, but of conscience, unity, and moral courage. The working tools we cherish are meaningless unless they are applied beyond the lodge: in our families, our communities, and our daily conduct. This season reminds us that Light is not something we speak about, it is something we must be.

In a world tired of noise, Christmas speaks softly, yet with authority. It teaches us that humility conquers pride, that truth outlasts force, and that brotherhood is not an idea but a responsibility. Let us not be content with symbolic goodness. This Christmas, I challenge every Brother, every family, every seeker of Light: do not wait for a better world. Build it. Build it in your words. Build it in your choices. Build it in how you treat the weakest among you. When we live our values boldly, Christmas does not end on December 25, it continues every day after.

May the Grand Architect of the Universe bless every home with peace, every heart with courage, and every Mason with renewed purpose. Let us walk forward not merely wishing goodwill, but becoming it.
