The PUP Model Congress

The PUP Model Congress Participate. Influence. Empower.

The PUP Model Congress is an annual legislative simulation of the Philippine House of Representatives organized by the PUP House of Parliamentarians (PUPHOP) & the Circle of Public Administration and Governance Students (CPAGS). It is a weeklong event where students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, especially students taking Parliamentary Practice and Procedures, showcased their parliamentary skills in drafting and creating bills, debating, lobbying, and other processes that are included in the legislative process.

As the curtains close on this year's congress, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our delegates, committee chairs, plenary officers, guest speakers, alumni, partner organizations, and the entire organizing committee whose dedication made this event possible.

The 8th PUP Model Congress was more than a simulationโ€”it was a testament to the power of youth participation, leadership, and informed discourse in shaping a better future.

The sessions may have adjourned, but the lessons learned, friendships formed, and commitment to public service will continue beyond the halls of congress.

Until the next session.
