This past Ramadan 2026, the International Center for Social Research, Peace and Development (ICSRPD), through its newly established department, Darul Huda, was honored to host two reading sessions (March 8 and March 14). These gatherings were designed to provide a space for deeper intellectual and spiritual engagement with the foundations of Islam.
We were pleased to welcome a diverse group of participants, including both new Muslims and non-Muslims interested in learning about Islamic values. This cross-cultural dialogue led to truly fruitful learnings, as participants explored the profound literary aspects of the Qur'an and the concept of justice according to the Islamic worldview.
To ensure a meaningful experience, each session moved beyond basic introductions to focus on reflection questions by encouraging participants to connect the discussions to their personal journeys and contemporary challenges, and a supportive environment through creating a space for new revert brothers, sisters, and guests to share their unique insights. Each session concluded in the spirit of Ramadan fellowship, breaking the fast together with Iftar and joining in the Taraweeh prayers.
At ICSRPD, we believe that education and community support are essential for holistic development. We are inspired by the dedication of our participants and look forward to more sessions that nurture both the mind and the soul.
