In its commitment to uphold accountable, transparent, and effective student governance, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Nursing Student Council (PLM CNSC) has formally adopted Resolution No. 01 s. 2026, appointing ๐๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ก ๐. ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ as the ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ of the PLM College of Nursing Student Council for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The appointment was conducted through a comprehensive and merit-based process following the vacancy in the Office of the Vice President. The Council opened a Call for Applications, conducted document evaluation, facilitated a formal interview, and deliberated among the elected officers to determine the most qualified candidate who demonstrated leadership competence, institutional knowledge, commitment to student service, and readiness to assume the responsibilities of the position.
Following the completion of the required processes, including coordination with the PLM Student Commission on Elections (SCOMELEC), review by the College of Nursing Administration, evaluation by the Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS), and approval by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Academic, and Extension Services (VPRAES), the appointment of Mr. Espinas was duly approved and recognized as the Acting Vice President of the Council for A.Y. 2026โ2027.
With his previous experience as the President of the PLM College of Nursing Student Council for Academic Year 2024โ2025, Mr. Espinas brings institutional knowledge, leadership experience, and organizational familiarity that will contribute to the continuity, stability, and advancement of the Councilโs programs, initiatives, and responsibilities.
As the Acting Vice President, Mr. Espinas shall assist in the overall administration and coordination of the Council, support the implementation of programs and policies, foster collaboration among officers and stakeholders, and continue to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, accountability, professionalism, and servant leadership in service of the College of Nursing student body.
The PLM College of Nursing Student Council welcomes Mr. Espinas to his new role and looks forward to his meaningful contributions toward strengthening student representation and advancing the collective interests of the Nursing community.
Adopted this 13th day of July 2026 at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Intramuros, Manila.
