🌹 FEAST OF SAINT THERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS 🌹

The Little Flower of Jesus

Yesterday, the Universal Church joyfully celebrated the feast of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, the Little Flower and Patroness of the Missions.

In the simplicity of her “Little Way,” St. Thérèse teaches us that holiness is not always found in great deeds, but in doing the smallest things with extraordinary love, humility, and complete trust in God.

PRAYER:

St. Thérèse, Flower of fervor and love, please intercede for us.

Fill our hearts with your pure love of God.
As we approach and celebrate your feast day,
make us more aware of the goodness of
God and how well He tends His garden.
Instill in us your little way of doing
ordinary things with extra-ordinary love.

Give us the heart of a child who wonders
at life and embraces everything with loving enthusiasm.
Teach us your delight in God’s ways
so that divine charity may blossom in our hearts.
Little Flower of Jesus, bring our petitions
(mention in silence here)
before God, our Father.

With your confidence, we come before Jesus
as God’s children,
because you are our heavenly friend.
As we celebrate the Feast Day of your
homecoming in heaven, continue to
shower roses and grace upon us.

Amen

In a deeply moving expression of faith and devotion, the faithful gathered for the solemn Dungaw Rite, witnessing the tender encounter of the Blessed Mother with her beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

As Mary gazes upon her suffering Son, we are reminded of her unwavering love, her sorrow, and her steadfast presence throughout His Passion.

May this sacred encounter deepen our devotion to the Blessed Mother and draw our hearts closer to Jesus, who gave Himself for the salvation of all.

Following the celebration of the Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Anthony Acupan, OSA, reverently blessed the sacred image in preparation for the solemn Rite of Dungaw.

LOOK NOW: THE MOTHER WAITING FOR HER SON

In the quiet moment of the Dungaw, a Mother waits for Her Son.

With eyes filled with sorrow and a heart overflowing with love, the Blessed Mother waits her beloved Son, sharing in His suffering even from afar. She cannot take away His pain, but her presence speaks of a love that never abandons.

May this sacred encounter remind us of the love of a Mother who never leaves her Son, and of a Son whose sacrifice was offered for the salvation of all.

Comparison is a quiet thief that hampers your peace, joy, and gratitude. Remember, God has different plans for each and every one of us. God will deliver our life stories perfectly according to His will.

In this episode of Break Time, Ivan Gozum reminds us that our worth does not decrease just because someone else has received more blessings, and also to notice those who are often overlooked.

On September 20, Sr. Vita Nova, the image of the Passion of Christ, will have a solemn Dungaw with Indu, Virgen de los Remedios.

In this sacred encounter, we are invited to contemplate the profound mystery of the Mother and the Son—Mary standing with Christ in His Passion, sharing in His suffering with a heart full of love.

As the images meet, may we be reminded of the Blessed Mother’s unwavering presence beside her Son and of Christ’s immense love poured out for the salvation of humanity.

May this Dungaw become a moment of prayer, reflection, and renewed devotion—a meeting not merely of sacred images, but of love, sorrow, faith, and hope.

A glimpse into a celebration close to our hearts—the Fiesta of our beloved Indu, Virgen de los Remedios, celebrated with joy, prayer, and deep devotion.

This year’s celebration was made even more meaningful as we commemorated the 70th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Virgen de los Remedios, coinciding with the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8.

From the solemn triduum, the beautiful preparations and vesting of Indu, the Eucharistic celebrations, processions, and moments of prayer, every part of the fiesta became a testament to the enduring love of her devotees.

Through every flower offered, every prayer whispered, every candle lit, and every step taken in procession, we were reminded that our devotion to Indu ultimately leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Indu ning Capaldanan, Reyna ning Kapayapan, continue to watch over your children, guide our homes, and intercede for us in times of joy and trial.

With grateful hearts, we look back on Indu’s Fiesta 2026—a celebration not merely remembered in photographs and videos, but treasured in the hearts of all who came together in faith.
