Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation was founded in 1995 initially as a drug bank with a simple but deeply humane mission: to help save lives by easing the financial burden of illness. For three decades, the foundation has stood quietly behind indigent patients in the PGH Medicine Wards and ICU, helping cover the cost of medicines, diagnostics, and life-saving treatments for those who come to the hospital with hope, but very limited means.

Despite the hiatus on social media (but never behind the scenes) continues to support indigent patients in the Medical wards of the Philippine General Hospital, with life-saving procedures and medications worth Php 3.4 million provided in 2021 alone.
