“Sometimes the only way the good Lord can get into some hearts is to break them.” — Blessed Fulton J. Sheen

May we never be afraid of the moments that humble us, stretch us, or bring us to our knees.

God can use even our struggles to draw us closer to Him, strengthen our faith, and remind us that His grace is enough.

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, pray for us.

Feast of St. Padre Pio

Today, the Church honors St. Pio of Pietrelcina, a humble Capuchin friar chosen by God to bear the wounds of Christ. Through his life of deep prayer, tireless hours in the confessional, and profound love for the Holy Eucharist, Padre Pio became a beacon of God’s mercy for countless souls.

He reminds us that holiness is found in surrendering everything to God — our joys, our struggles, and even our sufferings. His words and example invite us to trust in the Lord’s providence, remain faithful to the sacraments, and live a life wholly pleasing to God.

🙏 On this feast day, let us ask St. Padre Pio’s intercession, that we too may persevere in prayer, carry our crosses with love, and keep our eyes fixed on heaven.

St. Padre Pio, pray for us. ✝️

Today is the feast day of St. Padre Pio, one of the most beloved saints of the Church. He bore the stigmata, the Wounds of Christ, for 50 years, and is a model of prayer and humility.
