We’re grateful to have shared the platform with your team during the Solar Community Meetup in Marinduque, held in partnership with DOST-MIMAROPA as part of the 2026 Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week.

It was great to see local businesses, homeowners, solar practitioners, financing institutions, and other stakeholders come together to explore how can support more sustainable and affordable energy solutions.

Making it easier to go also means making sure installers are ready to meet the demand.

The DOE’s streamlined guidelines for own-use, zero-export solar systems can help reduce regulatory friction for consumers. But as demand continues to grow, scaling a skilled local installer workforce will be just as important in turning this demand into actual installations.

Solar Community Meetup Legazpi brought Bicol's solar community together! ☀️

At SCM Legazpi, solaristas from across the region were able to connect, collaborate, and explore new opportunities to help inform ongoing efforts to strengthen the region's ecosystem, including the development of local renewable energy policies and frameworks

We were also honored to be joined by New Energy Nexus CEO Andrew Chang and Albay Governor Noel Ebriega Rosal, whose support reinforces the importance of collective action in accelerating the country's clean energy transition.
