Solar energy is becoming an increasingly viable option for Filipino households, helping reduce electricity bills while contributing to a more resilient and decentralized energy system.

But as highlighted in this Rappler article, barriers such as upfront costs, fragmented installer networks, limited access to financing, and complex net-metering processes still make it difficult for many households to adopt rooftop solar.

At New Energy Nexus Philippines, we work with local solar entrepreneurs, installers, and ecosystem partners to help address these challenges. We believe that building a stronger and more connected solar ecosystem can help make clean energy more accessible for Filipino communities.
