The PNU USC Student Tribunal participated in the Annual Leadership Training and Strategic Planning for Student Leaders held on June 1 and 3, 2026, at the BPS Auditorium.
On the first day of the workshop, student leaders were oriented on the proper procedures for document preparation and submission across various university offices involved in student affairs. Representatives from the Budget and Accounting Unit, Procurement Management Office, Office of the University Registrar, Supply and Property Unit, Planning Office, and Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office discussed their respective processes and requirements to guide student organizations in carrying out their activities effectively.
The second day focused on strengthening inclusive and responsive student leadership. Discussions highlighted the importance of promoting inclusion for persons with disabilities and individuals with special needs within student organizations. Student leaders also participated in a Response Training on Student Gender-Based Harassment and Violence facilitated by Director Merimee Tampus Siena of the Student Affairs and Services Unit. The session provided guidance on the proper handling of gender-based harassment and violence cases within student leadership settings. Additionally, various student leadership offices presented and discussed their plans and initiatives for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The event served as an important platform for collaboration, planning, and capacity-building among student leaders. Beyond providing opportunities to present future programs and initiatives, it also equipped participants with essential knowledge on university procedures, documentation, and student affairs processes necessary for effective and responsible leadership.
