HAPPY FEAST DAY OF SAN LORENZO RUIZ DE MANILA 😇

SEPTEMBER 28 | FEAST OF SAN LORENZO RUIZ DE MANILA AND COMPANIONS, Martyrs

San Lorenzo was a devoted husband and father of three children in the Philippines during the 17th century. After he was unjustly accused of murder, he fled with Dominican missionaries to Japan where he was tortured for faith and died professing: "I shall die for God, and for Him, I would give many thousands of lives if I had them." He was canonized by Pope John Paul on October 18, 1987.

Grant us, we pray, Lord God, the same perseverance shown by your Martyrs Saint Lawrence Ruiz and his companions in serving you and their neighbor, since those persecuted for the sake of righteousness are blessed in your Kingdom. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

𝗞𝗔-𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗕𝗔𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗘 2026 :𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗘Ñ𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗔 𝗗𝗘 𝗟𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛

Our Youth Pilgrimage went on a journey as we explored different churches in Pampanga, and our final stop was 𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗘Ñ𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗔 𝗗𝗘 𝗟𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛 in Brgy Bahay Pare, Candaba. As our journey went on, we were reminded that a pilgrimage is more than simply visiting different churches - it is a calling for us to slow down, reflect and strengthen our faith.

A journey of faith begins not with knowing where we are going, but with knowing Whom we are walking toward. Each step became a reminder that faith is also a journey: sometimes we walk with certainty, sometimes with questions, and sometimes simply trusting that God is leading us even when we cannot see the whole path.

May every churches be a place where our hearts grow, feel at peace and allow God to meet us exactly where we are. May our Lakbay continues together carrying Christ in our hearts and trusting his plans. 🙏📿⛪

As our journey went on, we were reminded that a pilgrimage is more than simply visiting different churches - it is a calling for us to slow down, reflect and strengthen our faith.
