: Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on Friday, August 7, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon (habagat) enhanced by Tropical Depression Maymay.

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest weather models and rainfall outlook from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicate continued rainfall tomorrow, with intensity ranging from light to moderate, at times heavy.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of face-to-face classes from Kinder to Senior High School (SHS) in public and private schools today, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by a thunderstorm carried by the habagat (southwest monsoon).

According to the MCDRRMD, rainfall this afternoon is expected to continue at the same intensity as yesterday (light to moderate, at times heavy), consistent with the on-and-off character of habagat weather.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

In observance of the 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., I am ordering the suspension of all classes—both face-to-face and online—in all levels in public and private schools in the City of Manila on Monday, July 27, 2026.

The suspension of face-to-face and online classes applies to all public and private schools across all grade levels, from Kinder to Senior High School, as well as colleges and universities.

This is to encourage all Manileños, especially our students and educators, to watch and follow the President's address to the nation.

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of face-to-face classes for Kinder to Senior High School (SHS) in public and private schools on Friday, 10 July 2026, due to moderate to heavy rainfall expected to persist today.

The MCDRRMO reported moderate to heavy rainfall of 50 to 100 millimeters, with conditions expected to persist throughout the day.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

As part of Brigada Eskwela 2026, We actively participated in the Tree Planting Activity, proving that leadership is not only about guiding others but also about taking meaningful action for the benefit of the community and the environment.

Through this activity, We embodied the values of leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and service—qualities that inspire positive change both inside and outside the school.

May these trees serve as a reminder that every good deed, no matter how small, can grow into something impactful. As young leaders, let us continue to be agents of change and advocates for a cleaner and better environment for all.
