Today marks the 54th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

We do not simply remember a declarationโ€”we remember the events and experiences that followed, including oppression, human rights abuses, disappearances, and the hardships endured by many Filipinos. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

Let us not forget this part of our history. ๐Ÿ“– History teaches us important lessons, and remembering the past helps us understand the value of ๐‘“๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘’๐‘‘๐‘œ๐‘š, ๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘š๐‘œ๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘๐‘ฆ, ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘ ๐’‰๐’–๐’Ž๐’‚๐’ ๐’“๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰๐’•๐’”. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ โš–๏ธ
